I wouldn't mind Parish in sole charge of the club but not football matters. His judgement has been poor. Pardew. Not sacking, extending, not sacking, being pressured into doing so by the Americans as it turns out, and then to hire Sam. I don'tknow who ignored Dyche and decided on Frank but Parish was getting carried away with Frank. Isn't hiring and firing Manager's a football matter? or would you rather leave that to Freedman?

I want an experienced person running football matters. It's why our FA and England team planning is sh1t as well. Suits running a sport.

Edited by rattus2002 (14 Sep 2017 1.10am) That's probably what Parish is saying along with his 'the sun may not come up tomorrow' type cr&p. You're an odd character. Chastise Parish over Frank and excuse him over the striker debacle, which is parish and Frank's fault.

Chastise Parish over Frank and excuse him over the striker debacle, which is parish and Frank's fault. I haven't chastised anyone. I don't agree with the decision to sack de Boer and the manner in which it has been done. I support the absolute vast majority of decisions that the board have made previously and would certainly not want anyone else running the club. I think Parish has done a fantastic job, especially coming from a position of no prior footballing experience and suddenly being thrust into running a football club. The striker situation only becomes a debacle if Benteke becomes injured. At present he is not and so why lose sleep over it? We tried to sign someone and failed. Who is to say that the scouting department were not at fault for not finding someone suitable or within budget? Your problem is that you are always quick to point the blame without knowing every fact behind the situation. To you I may be an odd character. So be it. If the definition of odd is disagreeing with your opinions during a reasonable debate then I can live with that.

It should have been addressed in the summer, however at present we do have a fit and able striker who has a reasonable scoring record in the premier league therefore I don't see it as debacle just yet. What I don't do, unlike yourself, is try to apportion blame to a particular party for us not signing somebody when I don't know the full facts as to why this was the case.

It's like everyone on here really worries about what their neighbours think. Do HOLers twitch behind their net curtains and tut? Or are we a wild bunch with tattoos, piercings, mad hair and a glint in our eye saying 'stuff you, we do things our way'. Edited by Mapletree (14 Sep 2017 11.11pm)

So it's not a debacle having 1 striker in the premier? Okay. If you're not aware then the Turkish fella is storming it right now. But it's okay, Benteke isn't injured yet. We'll just have to face the season and prem is over if he does get injured.

Not sure that the Turkish chap has any relevance to this discussion as it seemed to be only a few journo's linking him with a very late move. You seem to have a politician's ability to evade the statements I make about you trying to apportion blame for everything without being in receipt of actual facts. Its most uncanny.
