4 games is not enough time for any manager. For sure FDB made some strange team choices & subs but yesterday we were the better team. What sort of management do we have that change their mind at the first sign of trouble? to change a club's culture takes a long time so you have to back the manager. Woy will be a disaster, he put Liverpool's average attendance down 10,0000. Get Naglesman from Hoffenhiem & then back him for a few years, we need to plan long term not short term. How many players could we have bought with the ££ we have paid out to sacked managers?

FDB didn't have the right players because Parish didn't give him the option to play the game he is used too, hence the odd selection at times. Sad day for our beloved club, to sack FBD and replace him with Hodgson.

If anyone was worried that they'd invested a lot of time in coming up with the song "Mad About de Boer" then don't worry because "Mad About the Roy" would work too.

There we go, we can stop worrying about stuff now and chat about avocado.

I'm very happy to have Roy,a born and bred Croydon gentleman,no airs and graces. His Mum used to live near my mum in Bywood Avenue.

Surely we should try and get Warnock back? No, I thought not.

For years the charm of Palace for me is that we're not Chelsea or City, buying ourselves a title. We're not Accrington Stanley, people have heard of us. We're just this funny little unpredictable team that could beat Barcelona one week and lose to someone's nan the week after.

Nothing's changed. Everyone's laughing at us again and I don't care. Up the Palace.

In the words of my late grandfather "what about the Palace eh?" - always true.

Cheers for this take on the team! South London and Proud!
(Even when I'm in North Carolina)

What early signs from our game against Southampton will it take to give you some optimism for the appointment (currently I have no optimism whatsoever):

1. Puncheon benched.
2. Ward benched.
3. Lee not in the squad.

If Hodgeson drops Puncheon that's a good start.
