This post has been merged from a topic called 'Is Steve parish greatness unravelling ?' by Guntrisoft Steve Parish should now stand aside it has been obvious that the team were not good enough last season and the second half of the previous season. This season's replacements are ok but we lack a striker to compete with Benteke a mid field player who can move the ball forward quickly (Puncheon is too slow on the ball) and the defence still appears fragile. Sakho hopefully will improve things like last season.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Is Steve parish greatness unravelling ?' by Guntrisoft It is obvious that Steve Parish is past his sell by date. So long and thanks for all the fish but now it's time for a new Chairman to guide us out of this mess.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Is Steve parish greatness unravelling ?' by Guntrisoft Yeah awful if only we had the chairmen of Leeds, Cardiff, Birmingham, Blackburn, Charlton, derby, wolves, Forrest, Norwich, Ipswich, Blackpool, Preston, Wednesday, Sunderland, Bolton, millwall, sheff utd. We've had it so hard these last 7 years with 5 seasons in the top flight an fa cup final, promotion at Wembley, numerous internationals in our squad. We're the biggest club in the world and deserve nothing less than Arabs who own a country and world record signings every transfer window. Go away parish you're so out of depth.

Didn't back him in the transfer market with no attacking options. Whether you rated Campbell or remy last season in terms of contribution. The fact that they haven't even been replaced so naivety. Mandanda sold over 8 weeks ago, not a single replacement found. If your FDB looking at the bench 1-0 down who do you turn to? Why name the likes of lapado and mutch and Kai Kai to a small degree if you don't think they're adequate. Even the year we had Gayle as a sub it's better than what we had to offer this season. The performance was better today, but for me parish is the issue. Anyone agree?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Is Steve parish greatness unravelling ?' by Guntrisoft Further, what does any of this mean? Step aside for whom? One of the Americans who certainly do not have the experience that Parish has? And how would this be put into effect? It's not like replacing a manager, you can't simply replace a chairman in the same way. It just doesn't work like that.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Is Steve parish greatness unravelling ?' by Guntrisoft I don't know, but it seems that he and FDB aren't jelling. Still wouldn't be surprised if he were sacked tomorrow.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Is Steve parish greatness unravelling ?' by Guntrisoft So many should have, could haves, would haves and too many parts making up the sum of where we find ourselves currently. Remember Parish on many occasions quoting that if you're not moving forward you're moving backwards. For the past 18-24 months we have pretty much been out of our depth in terms of strength and quality as a squad. Forget the fact that we've coughed and spluttered over the premier league survival line. Confidence in individuals is paramount, but taking injuries, formations, tactics, ladyluck and bla bla bla bulls*** out of the equation, (and I fully appreciate what he has done for the club), I do feel that Parish is more at fault than De Boer for our current 'predicament' as we discuss 'today'. He should know better by now. But that's easy for me to say. Especially when we wouldn't be having this debate 'today' if it weren't for him. Just kind of frustrating when it seems like we keep doing the hard work and don't do the easy bit, better.

Could not agree more, however so many people can't see this, many think he can walk on water instead of looking at the performance over the last four and a bit seasons, he has been the one who has single handed created the problems we now have!

Not as easy as being a complete fantasist. Yeah because that's a great solution ain't it, parish step aside and let someone else run the club, you couldn't even give me one name who could come in, let alone someone that would be a gaurenteed success in running the club.
