If FDB goes, can I have first dibs on his black Macron t-shirt?

I suspect the original post on this is likely to be accurate - "hard work, stubborn and clashing on everything". Those characteristics could explain the problems of the transfer window. Sako seems very much a Parish buy - and a very good one - whereas De Boer always seemed neutral at best. Perhaps he preferred Chambers? Irrespective, as so many other have commented, this is only likely to end one way and in pretty short order.

I made a seriously bad error of judgement on appointment of a senior staff member at work about a year ago. I thought i saw something in a guy nobody else could. They were right. I was badly wrong. I put my hands up and admitted it and got rid. Replaced with much safer bet and all good now. My pride or ego were hurt a bit for a short while but nobody ridiculed me and now im praised for admitting mistake and acting quick for the greater good.

Im sure SP far more experienced than me. If he does sack FDB, good on him and get behind him.

We will be ok and in reply to another thread , we so lucky to have SP as our chairman

Ps. And lets not forget, Sir Alex , arguably best manager ever, basically appointed Moyes as his preferred successor. One huge mistake as it turned out. Even the best get it badly wrong sometimes.

Unless he did it on purpose to make his legend status even greater - huah huah ( in Vincent Price Thriller voice !!!!)

Funny, I heard from someone I know (that is far more ITK than me) that the opposite was true. That FdB is devastated that results he been so poor and that Parish sympathises and is very supportive.
I wasn't going to post this but having read the thread starter I felt it only fair to balance up the tripe (sorry, gossip)

It just goes to show that the media will print any old crap and we are equally happy to discuss it over and over again often turning it into a self fulfilling prophesy.

And this is just as plausible as the other rumour. Thing is the other one is more salacious.

I'd love to believe this is true and that we have a rational and supportive chairman (which up until this season I always thought we did), but his actions in the transfer market, especially towards the end tell a whole different story

Is this Parish being 'very supportive' here? [Link]

This is all we've got to go on re. Parish and attitude towards FDB since the rumours broke. To me he doesn't sound sympathetic - quite the opposite.

Erm, yes. What else is he going to say, all is hunky dory? No sign he isn't helping FDB through this but also clear he won't get forever.

I'd be surprised if SP shared such high profile and sensitive information with the friend of friend TBH.

Working relationships between Chairmen and football managers are regularly strained. I reckon de Boer's changed things a lot quicker than he'd suggested he would at interview and the results speak for themselves.

Also, although you cant judge a player on one game, Riedewald isn't looking the best spent £9 mil at the moment and is almost certainly a de Boer signing.

Parish was quick to dismiss the takeover rumours a few weeks ago shame he can't come out & support his manager.
