I suspect he has come to the same comclusion that many of us have (FdB doesnt fit) and will sack him at the week end. He probs wouldnt want to hold another lomg round of interviews and would go with Hodgson. He does after all have a wealth of experience, has successfully run PL clubs before, and is a pragmatist who will get the best out of players in the positions they are best suited to play in. A lot would depend on the coaching staff and how well drilled they are. Possibly go with Freedman as 'Interim' and if there is an improvement might even offer the job to him on a permanent basis ! But I can understand the rational behind the comments relating to Hodgson who is certainly experienced and would be a "Safe pair of hands".

It's possibly the manager and supporters who doubt this possibility. Try to build this as a team for some stability when all are fit and we should be okay. Try being too clever for your own good and, well... Edited by Rudi Hedman (01 Sep 2017 12.30pm) Spot on. Play 4-3-3 and our starting 11 and bench (minus striker) look decent.

After you have spent 12 millions why not give them a game.

Schlupp has pace though, and that is always going to give defenders something to think about.

Is this the same Parish that said that it took so long to appoint FDB because he wanted to make sure that he made the right choice? With the exception of Sammy Lee the coaching staff are FDB's henchmen and will probably also leave

I have a feeling Hodgson will come in with the Doug as his no 2. Sammy Lee has worked with Roy before so his appointment wouldn't rock the boat to much.
