Of course the board are responsible for yesterday.

Get Pardew. Try to play passing football. It fails. Get Allardyce to save us.
Allardyce leaves knowing we won't spend money.
Get De Boer. Try to play passing football. We don't spend any money...again.

Guess what happens next?

Yes heard such mumblings yesterday with very disgruntled supporters saying that we had only spent £8 Mill before the start of the season whereas Huddersfield had spent some £35 Mill.

Mounie scored twice and cost £11.5 Mill. I did say on HOL that he is very strong aerially and thrives on crosses but very abject defending for all 3 goals.

We already have the players.

Delaney not even on the bench bring him back and make him captain.

Could fund Sakho and a goalkeeper by selling Benteke or Zaha.

Its the PL we know already what works but fail to apply it.

Add to this his first manager Burley sacked and replaced by Doog who was ALLEGEDLY told to play more attacking football (which worked) and was then allowed to leave.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

This is what I said in the summer. Early days but if Frank is stubborn then he's going to lose the crowd. Parish will have to admit his error again (extending Pardew's contract was the previous error and then not sacking him whenever up to 5 months earlier)

This is my main point for starting this thread. He does seem immune from criticism from some. Turn the dial back was his words. Pardew last 14 months was a disaster barring a cup run. He keeps risking our status. Especially with mr dyche keen on the post.

I agree with that but im not making that purile assumption... have you considered that they know this as well, what better way to get the point across than to hang players out to dry to get more in?

I mean you're the one that keeps posting all these threads about players we're linked with, so to make the assumption no one else is coming in is laughable as you clearly believe everything you see on t***ter and all the other 3rd rate sources.

This hanging players out to dry to show the chairman some are needed with transfer fees paid crossed my mind. I don't know if it's very Dutch but Van Gaal does it.

Frank has no experience of our leagues although he must be given time to grow into the job, given he has a strong management team including Lee,around him to advise and change direction sooner, rather than later.

Underprepared in that it takes months to change to a completely diff system with not enougj players who suit it out of the blocks... but then to expect it to take time to bed in is common sense which most out us don't seem to possess instead looking to blame something or someone.

We'll never progress unless we allow us to. We created almost twice as many chances as they did yesterday so the system is doing something right.. we just didn't take our chances, they did.

If we don't have the players to play a system then don't play it, unless it's showing the chairman and hanging players out to dry. Note we never had the players when Frank said we had. Full proof yesterday and that's with 3 new players on the pitch. So that's 5 at least short of what's needed to play 3-4-3. I was never fooled by the statements. Lots of managers are full of sh1t. I hope this doesn't put us in a really bad place.

Only the first game, every game after this is far harder and against much better opposition.

But that's not how football works is it. That's why teams like Chelsea loose to Bradford in the cup or Burnley then win the premiership...
