I prefer down blouse. Nothing better than looking down a top to see some heavy hangers flopping about like a blancmange in cement mixer.

My ex came round mine last night & I got a glimpse of down blouse - much more exciting than the 36 months I had full access to her fun-bags.

A really, really important thing to remember with Banter - is that it has to be consensual. Its not mandatory.

For example, if someone posts a serious response to a topic, and you just chip straight in with a sexist joke about their period, then the assumption is that its not banter.

If your note sure, drop a smiley face in. But remember if the other person doesn't take it as banter - its on you.

If there is some too and fro, or they're regular contributors to General Talk, sure.

Don't disagree with that. Are you on your cycle though Jamie? That's not banter, I'm having a go at you

Yeah, I am like that but more of a lazy pervert than a lazy madman. I don't go out trying to perv on anyone but if a girl randomly guessed all the digits of my phone number and sent me a pictures of her upstairs then I'd go "oo, cheers".

I should caveat. In this unlikely hypothetical scenario, the imaginary woman intended to send it to me and was just very in tune with my mobile phone. No voyeurism would be embarked upon. I mean no offence to any imaginary women and if you or any of your loved ones are imaginary women than I sincerely apologise for any distress caused.

Can I post this or is it now homophobic?

I know this is a joke but it's an interesting comment. There's more than enough anger around these parts but you always come across as calm and considered.

Is the take home that you have low expectations of people or an aversion to them and so whether they're saying something you agree with, disagree with or something crazy, it doesn't mean that much to you either way?

I agree with you.

There is a deeper philosophical question though about the nature of desire, how it should/could be expressed and how people are to cope with their sexual drives in a way that doesn't adversely affect others.

I don't think it desire per se, I think its that men think in terms of sex, that if they can get away with it, then its ok. That consent is a technical issue, and that the end goal is to have sex, and provided you don't break the explicit rules, then its all good.

I think society encourages this in men, but not in women. Think about the whole upskirt thing - its not new - this has been around for ages, and its seen as bad but the degree to which is either criminal or enforced is limited (and if like me, you like Anime, its celebrated in Japan). The internet is full of p***.graphy that technically 'simulates' illegality.

Now I think most of us can tell the difference, but not everyone, some people see that s**t and think its real, not made up and more worrying they think its OK.

Like anything, about 80% of the population can be trusted to do the right thing, the other 20% spoil s**t for everyone.

Some males are more driven sexually than others and to a smaller percentage perhaps females. Society treats these too genetic realities very differently.

I think that women are probably more sexually driven than men, they're just more choosey because their options are much better.

I think males and some females who aren't very good in social situations yet highly sexed have issues with correct expression....Then again, you get manipulative narcissists who want to see what advantage they can gain from being direct....again, people respond very differently depending upon their gender.

Some, I think others, many get a thrill, or its a fetish (in the proper sense of the word). I don't necessarily think its about sex so much as the thrill and excitement that people participate in things like this. The transgression is exciting, the photos are probably more about relieving the experience again and again, in between repeating the act.

The might not be 'able to get the woman' but its the next best thing, something intimate, a violation by proxy. The sex aspect is secondary, its about the turn on, the excitement of the adrenaline, the rush and the power to the individual that comes from 'getting her'.

Which worries me, because that's also how very dangerous people think

I'm joking. I don't have low expectations of people, I have no expectations of people. I like people who disagree with me, because its more interesting, than people who agree.

But I keep a small circle of people I regard as my friends and family, that's pretty tight outside and I conquered my temper with Zen.

That sounds like a healthy approach to life really. How did you get in top of your temper? Meditation? Sorry for turning the thread into a Michael Parkinson interview.

I don't think there's anything wrong with anything that's between consenting adults. Many of my loved ones are imaginary people - they're the best kind. Reality is always a bit of a let down. That's why man invented p*** (and fiction), to keep the sexy sexy.

Zen meditation. Sounds new like new age bollocks but it worked for me.
