Im not sure what imsults me more..the thought of a person with the intellect of Tony Adams beimg involved in a consortium able to buy us out or that we're worth as much as 1 x Neymar

If they had an offer of £200m from a credible source I'm sure that all would sell up whether fans or not.

Somehow I doubt whether this particular offer passes the credible test though

Pretty much the point I made. You've offered an argument against it then made the same point I made. 👍

Oh definitely the former; the lights are on, but Mr Brain left home long ago. The latter is a mere irritation by comparison

Parish just tweeted this, for anyone who was still believing this may be true.

These fake stories are made up to destabilise a club just before the season starts. If I were Steve Parish, I would get the police involved to find the real source of this as it can have serious consequences on things such as players attitudes, potential new signings etc.

This seems a bargain at £200 million, worth a punt. Treat with contempt it deserves.

Enough said and life is good again , Steve Parish @CEO4TAG
I said shook his hand and hello once at an Arsenal game for 10 seconds, other than that I've never met him.

Adams is an utter bellend. He thinks he is an absolute font of knowledge of all things football and is convinced he knows best all the time. He would make a terrible owner. I don't know the logistics of how this would happen and if this is true, but there is no way I want Adams anywhere near the running of the club he would be disastrous. He used to basically turn up to Arsenal training sessions to offer to 'help out with coaching' after repeatedly asking Arsene for a job. Wenger said no because he knew he wasn't good enough. Granada has proved that. Besides he is a w*nker.

Ignore my post. Just seen the tweet. Well don't ignore the bits slagging off Adams.

Steve Parish is under NO obligation to confirm or deny any stories in the media whether it be transfer targets, managerial targets, interest from outside parties, other developments at the club etc etc.

Reading between the lines, you fully expect SP to tweet an unequivocal denial any minute.

I know they are not selling, but I don't think our shareholders would be that excited by £200M.
If you look at their individual holdings, and their net worth, it wouldn't change their lives financially but they would give up the thrill of owning such a proud fantastic club.
What we need eventually is someone to turn up with £400M to build us a new stadium at Crystal Palace. It will happen. There are plenty of corporates who would do that tomorrow and not want to own CPFC.
Now we are where we are and the tragic state of CP Park .......derelict...., Bromley Council would be far more receptive.
The opportunities for our shareholders and us mere fans and of course the club over the next ten years are HUGE.
