We're not in debt.

FdB has no experience of the PL, unlike Allardyce, so any "confidence" in his ability to "find more points" is guess worked based on nothing tangible whatsoever. We cannot rely on a procession of untested U23s to gain us enough points to keep us in the PL. We've had plenty of players who've "worked their socks off"; that is not, and never has been, a guarantee of success on the pitch.

If de Boer has got us in the cack by Chrismas we won't be able to rely on him get us out of the drop zone in the second half of the season. If we struggle against Huddersfield that will be sufficient for a distant alarm bell to start sounding.

If a team stands still in the PL, it goes backwards. In our fifth season we should be looking to improve our squad. What will cost us "millions and millions and millions" is if we were to be relegated. After this long in the PL, and even with the squad we have, it shouldn't be a "bumpy ride"; if it is it will be one of FdB's own making.

well, I'm glad bookies don't agree with your pessimistic forecast since they say Palace have an 83% chance of staying up.

The EPL experience factor questions have been answered on HOL many times before which sadly you won't accept that is your's and only a handful of others on here's personal debate since you keep bringing it up. I for one will not waste any further debate on this, please.

Even professional researchers have looked at player stats and combinations say 22% chance of being in the top 10 than 17% of losing 150 million by being relegated.

Ignore Bexley dave unless you have a collection of half full glasses you want half emptying, is my advice.

Whenever I read Bexleydave's posts I always see a vision of Zippy out of Rainbow - can anyone offer an explanation please?

Holland was close to starvation in world war 2 but nowhere near hungry now, unless in Amsterdam and in need of munchies and a sugar rush.

It was a joke, as for some strange reason he made a quip at another poster questioning how he'd be supporting Palace from his home in hungry. Might have taken it the wrong way but it very much sounded as if he was invalidating the guys support for the eagles based on his nationality/ location.

Was a very odd post.

I knew it was a joke so added another, although I forgot about the supporter in Hungary so wasn't 100% on the details of joke.

Now the Neymar deals done there will be a nock on effect down the line. Should have completed the deals we could do already, now it's a different ball game.

I'll bite. How exactly does the Neymar deal make it harder for us to buy players?

Prices have inflated mate. Soon we'll have to pay £7m to bring Glenn Murray back from Brighton before deadline day, then for him to score a hatrick at the AMEX.
