Thoughts? Yes I would prefer something where we can get an extra midfielder. Tottenham and Chelsea make 3 at the back work because they have strong defensive midfielders like Wanyama and Matic and a high energy ball winner like Kante.

If we are going to play 3-4-3 we need to make changes GK Wayne Hennessey needs upgrading CB Tomkins RM Ruben Loftus-Cheek ST: Wilfried Zaha Sell: Ward (not needed hes a right back) Delaney, Kelly, Souare, Puncheon ( hes not good enough for the formation, big mis-take making him Capt imo.) McArthur, Lee. Use the money to upgrade our defence.

I'm excited about the idea of a 3-4-3 system. It allows us to play our best players in their best positions and only a few players are required to upgrade the squad. We don't want Wilf or Andros having to track back, with this formation they don't have to. GK - Hennessey (Needs upgrade) RCB - Tomkins RWB - Ward (Needs upgrade/backup) RS - Zaha (Needs backup)

Even at £10m each (and you don't get much for that this summer) you're talking about a spend that we won't be making. Back to the drawing board maybe?

His best position is wide on thd right.( Not sure why he played left yesterday). But surely if you're playing 343 the 2 wide players need to play closer to the center forward and the wingbacks push up wide. This certainly didn't happen yesterday with Benteke looking very isolated.

This is not the famed Ajax academy and we play in the PL and not in the less demanding Eredivisie. And we have just about escaped relegation in recent seasons so NOT had the luxury of being able to 'Blood' youngsters in the circumstances.Bit different to the situation at Ajax when he was appointed manager.

Let's see how it works against a side in our half of the league, if it fails miserably on Saturday. Then I think it should be back to the drawing board. Zaha was affective last season, in the premier league you can't afford that kind of luxury of an 3 advance striker in our position.

If Frank realises that it's too much, too soon and adapts to play to our strengths, makes some astute signings and slows down the rate of change to a pace the team can learn, we'll be fine. If he does a Pardew and ploughs on regardless then I stand by my prediction. FdB seems an intelligent man who I hope will see sense. It's just his confidence and certainty that worry me slightly.
