No. But you can watch a team play in games other than the last 5 and see how well drilled and organised they are whilst also playing some good stuff. That's what we should be aiming for. Pardew never had a game plan beyond pass it Bolasie and let's all sprint, even during the successful spell. Let's wait and see, Silva could flop and be hugely over rated but I think it's definitely the direction we should be going in and I can see the potential for him to do something very good at Palace.

Hull were well in the relegation zone in January and looked dead certs to be relegated. At a time when we spent 40 mill on players to keep us up Hull's net spend was 3.8 mill PROFIT and they were better after it! Eventually that lack of investment counted when they collapsed at the last minute, but I'm amazed people can't see what a god job Silva did, he nearly pulled off a miraculous job for them.

Not many had even heard of 'Marco Silva' when he was appointed Hull manager. He gets relegated (Albeit extenuating circumstances) and all of a sudden he is the "Flavour of the month" ! I really do think our supporters will be somewhat less than enthusiastic if he was appointed our manager. Edited by Willo (24 May 2017 7.49pm)

They went down. He was out coached by clement and many others. Surely you want more than survival. So do you think that silva could take us to the top 10 or even survive in the prem as a bare minimum. If your Zaha and silva joined would you stay. Clement had Llorente and Sigurosson who would walk into a top 6 side, without them they were down. Who did Silva have at Hull?

Edited by Willo (24 May 2017 7.49pm) Actually in these modern times, many people love a 'bandwagon' and currently it's Marco Silva is 'over rated' and people like you go to town with your stats. Some people saw the vast and sustained improvement at Hull under his leadership with very little to work with. Let's wait and see, it'll be a great opportunity for you to start a thread talking about how you was 'blasted' if he does join and turn out to be a flop

You're saying he's s*** whilst quoting his tally of 19 points from 21 home games. Reality check, it was his leadership that achieved that, his squad was unarguably very weak and way below the standards of a premier league club.
