I'm pretty sure the beeb would prohibit documentary production companies from using quote approval under its Ts & Cs. Let's be sensible: what other stories than These-People-Are-Why-There-Are-No-Openly-Gay-Footballers do you think they might want? They will say they want a balanced view. It might even be true. But you're at the whim of people you don't know. And even if it's balanced, it has to START WITH presenting Palace fans as homophobes. I'm all for this being debated publicly, but not in such a way that damages the club or our fans' generally great reputation. Maybe we should all go on the Jeremy Kyle show. Well just another excuse to indulge the homophobic theme, so sad to see the really pathetic nature of many of these remarks, frankly any gay man who was a footballer would be ill advised to declare their preference. Should we stay up this season it will be gross how this board will be overwhelmed with homophobic Brighton themes and it seems that some can't wait. Shame how intelligence is lost when primal fear kicks in and that seems to be what happens with this subject.

Before anyone gets their knickers in a knot I have not spoken to them not have I said I will take part. I emailed out of curiosity and asked for more details about the programme and format it would take. Here is the email I have received back.. Sounds quite normal so far but as others have said could be edited very differently
