But we also have the points in the bag. I'd much rather our position than Hull or Swansea's.

The 'Positive' mood from the Liverpool win has been replaced with a mood of real concern about our prospects of survival. And you're not helping. At a time when everyone has to pull together you'd rather say you were right and almost seen happy we're in more trouble than it seemed.

Willo, I think you're right in some ways but positives need to be drawn from this too. Everyone is anxious, with Oldham etched in our memories. But, I also remember Portsmouth and Stockport away. If we succumb to your negativity we're screwed. Likewise, if we succumb to complacency we're also screwed. A healthy balance is needed.

How many times have we done over the big teams and lost to the minnows, this is normal for us, just a bit more at stake at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised if we get something from City or United (as was mentioned above they may have the Europa League final after us) and Hull, I honestly can't see us losing that, but you never know with us. The joys of Palace and the reason I have no fingernails. Bit more optimism round here wouldn't hurt.

We are going to do Moan Utd. We'll have Sakho back and somehow I just think we'll win comfortably

I really don't believe I am alone in being really concerned about our current plight.

Southampton were dreadful, and clearly on the beach, but Hull didn't have the quality to create anything much anyway. They got a draw because Southampton fluffed a penalty, and if it hadn't been for Maguire they would still have been beaten soundly. They're definitely worse than Swansea. If we can't beat these at home in a normal timetable we can hardly complain about the bother we will be in. And if Swansea lose next week it will be moot anyway.

Err, I saw him with crutches yesterday. Ah, the old crutches ploy. Moan Utd won't see it coming then.
