Means precious little when one is battling the drop as games can easily be lost.

Yes games in hand are not always that useful but our points on the board may be. Fingers crossed for a few more weeks. Let's hope Man U get to their final and rest a few for our visit probably all wishful thinking atm

a rotten day at the office for us today.

To be honest, I didn't expect anything else.

When others have been seemingly 'Positive' on here, I have been labelled "Negative" etc etc but perhaps SOME might start to agree slightly with me.

With our remaining fixtures we still face a herculean task to beat the drop irrespective of games in hand, better goal difference etc.I expect a defeat at Liverpool tomorrow so it will only be 1 game in hand on those in with a chance below us.

Guys let's be honest beat Burnley next week and we will go above them and possibly another couple of teams.

That will keep us safe anything tomorrow or Wednesday is a bonus but next Saturday is the big one it's completely in our hands.

Stop the panic and the faith.

As long as they don't win tomorrow of course. Unlikely but you never know with Utd and Burnley are tough at home.

Swansea are the ones with the Herculean task. They still have to win two in four to make us do anything and if we win the two six-pointers they need snookers.

I feel that Burnley have a more difficult game with Zaltan out. The movement and pace of RAshford will be hard for them to handle.

After today, we'll be 4 points clear for the drop, with a vastly superior goal difference and games in hand. If we lose to both Liverpool and Spurs - even badly - we'll go into next weekend 4 points clear of the drop, with a vastly superior goal difference.

Indeed and thank f**k we got the six points from Chelsea and Arsenal. The draw with Leicester didn't hurt either.

Of course I wouldn't rule out a point for us tomorrow.

Fans need to chill. It's in our own hands.

Swansea: Hull
Man Utd - a Southampton-a
Everton (h). Sunderland- h
Sunderland -a. Cpfc - A
Wba - h. Tottenham-h

Let's say both sides lose at least once more this season - Swansea have to overhaul 4 pts (5 pts to go above us. If we achieve 0pts)in those 3 games. Still think we need one win in our 6 games. Nothing changed.

That's because you pretty much only post negative comments or not at all.

We are still in control of our own destiny. Today has confirmed Boro Can't catch us. 12 points out of 15 = not a chance

Two wins or one win and two draws without us getting a point for Swansea to overtake us out of four remaining games.

We have to play Hull and they have to go to Southampton. They have a poor away record. If we beat them they would need to win two of the remaining three games to leapfrog us.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Or to put it another way, Hull, Swansea and ourselves will all have 12 points to play for and two of our games are away to Man U and Man City. We are almost certainly going to need something against Burnley and/or Hull.

Next weekend we play Burnley at home and Swansea go to Old Trafford. We can kill it there and then. This weekend / week is all playing for bonus points.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.
