Even the perpetrator states that it wasn't about religion but a hate crime against whites.

That's OK then. For a minute I thought he might be a lone wolf nutter.

That bastion of pro-Americanism, the Guardian, pointed out these claims came straight from North Korea, and that they were false.

Now, that doesn't excuse the US targeting of civilians at No Gun Ri where reliable reports indicate several hundred civilians were murdered.

Mind you, that pales in comparison to the tens (if not hundreds) of thousands murdered by the communists or by Syngman Rhee's soldiers.

But don't let the facts get in the way.

And the rest...

"Since the original AP report, more documents detailing refugee 'kill' orders have been unearthed at the US national archives. They point to the widespread targeting of refugees by commanders well after No Gun Ri. In August 1950 there were orders detailing that refugees crossing the Naktong River be shot. Later in the same month, General Gay, commander of the 1st Cavalry Division (of which the 7th Cavalry Regiment involved at No Gun Ri was part), actually ordered artillery units to target civilians on the battlefield. And as late as January 1951, the US 8th Army was detailing all units in Korea that refugees be attacked with all available fire including bombing.

This reiterated previous instructions that you have complete authority in your zone to stop all civilian traffic in any direction. Responsibility to place fire on them to include bombing rests with you.
Detail from US military instructions
New allegations have also emerged of the indiscriminate killing of civilians in Korea. In August 1950, 80 civilians are reported to have been killed while seeking sanctuary in a shrine by the village of Kokaan-Ri, near Masan in South Korea. Other survivors recall 400 civilians killed by US naval artillery on the beaches near the port of Pohang in September 1950, and dozens of villages across southern South Korea report the repeated low-level strafing by US planes of 'people in white' during July and August 1950. A total of 61 separate incidents involving the killing of civilians by US forces are now logged with the South Korean authorities."

Thank you for proving my point. You might want to read your own link.

You claimed a 1,000,000 people were murdered by the US. That is not what the link you provided says.

I pointed out there had been several hundred murders at No Gun Ri. I also pointed out that there were large scale massacres by both sides. Read your own link and you will note that the article refers to what I was talking about.

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

THE US committed an horrendous what would be called a war crime today during the Korean War. They deliberately targeted and killed 1,000,000 walking to sanctuary/or walking away from war zone civilians - men, women and children - because, and wait for this, perhaps they may have been some enemy soldiers amongst them.

Talk about using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

Kermit now an apologist for North Korea (shock horror).

I don't think you know the actual meaning of the word apologist.

Its traditional meaning is "a person who offers an argument in defence of something controversial." But in this, and similar cases, it needs expanding to "a person who offers an argument in defence of something controversial that is also against the interests of the democratic West".

If I complain about an innocent man being shot by police because they thought it was a gun in a bag but was a table leg, in your vision of the world, I'm an apologist for criminals.
If I complain about how some people equate all Muslims as part of Isis, I'm a terrorist apologist.

The main and most important point still stands; that the US viciously and wantonly and with official authority positively targeted innocent men, women and children and rained down bloody murder upon them a la Assad. 61 seperate ongoing investigations and how many others, I wonder, are not happening due to no witnesses nor surviviors?

If the 1,000,000 has been irrefutably proven to be incorrect then that is a mercy.

Only if you had disproven my main thrust which you didn't because, as you well know, the murderous actions were not bullsh1t . You disputed the numbers to score a point. Give yourself a pat on the back.

Don't lie Kermit.

You said:

"...They deliberately targeted and killed 1,000,000 walking to sanctuary/or walking away from war zone civilians - men, women and children...."

Errm. No they didn't. The link you provided said they murdered several hundred, which I claimed was the case. I even gave you the name of the massacre so that you could wiki it.

You made a claim, and your own evidence showed your claim was false.
