May I take the opportunity to remind you all that Sam took Bolton to a cup final .. into Europe via a very tidy 6th place finish in said premier league. Nothing to suggest this chap won't replicate this again. We've got a good un, I'm expecting great times.

6 points and being instrumental in their relegation would make most right-thinking Palace fans come in their pants.

Sure would ... even the gay ones and I bet they wouldn't get offended either

Agree with all those as well as we might wish to hold onto our manager as well. There will be a lot of teams congested around the relegation zone this season and a few might be eyeing him.

Don't you think that Sam, with possibly the best squad he's ever had, and the biggest transfer budget he's ever had, would want to stay and do more than just keep a team up?

Speroni would've saved it!

I expect Wilf to go, Sakho to go back, but some good -- safe -- signings where we need them.

I think there will be some talk of Europe but that will fizzle out by Feb/March. I think we'll have the odd bad run but never to be materially threatened by relegation.

Some on here are conflating hope with expectation.

If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities.

I don't think anyone should be talking about Europe if Zaha and Sakho go. However if they stay that's just what some will be talking about. Personally I don't think under any circumstance we should be speaking about Europe next year as a target. Keep the current squad and we should be aiming for above 12th. Anything above 10th and we've had a magnificent year.

This squad plus Sam. A decent Cup run would be nice.

Stuffing Brighton home and away.

Playing Brighton on Boxing Day and the last game of the season.

A top 10 finish, pushing for Europe.

Very much depends on what Division we are playing in as far as I am concerned.Let's NOT forget that we are in a relegation battle and there is much to do to avoid the dreaded drop. It's certainly NOT a foregone conclusion that we will still be in the PL next season.

Keep Wilf, buy Sakho at a decent price with a couple of other positions strengthened.

Mid table finish with no flirtation with relegation post Christmas. Win a cup.

Oh and Brighton coming to Selhurst on the last game of the season on 34 points needing a win or they get relegated and us spanking them.

Can't see any team matching our valuation to be honest.

Dont fear next season, got a good feeling about it.38 games under sams management gives me every reason to be confident. Few tweeks here and there, he knows what we need, staying up this season is going to prove monumental to the future of our club.
