Goaddamit. We have a 22 year old Swedish trainee starting next week. If I had known you or Peffers were available she wouldn't have got her blonde hair and blue-eyes beyond Bristol Airport.

Here's something that might surprise you. In most bookies I've checked, Corbyn is actually second favourite to be PM at the next election. 2nd, out of near enough 60 million people.

Clearly what he says does have a baring then. And what he's saying is significant because if, like for most of the country, the prospect of another tory government is totally unpalatable, he's the best chance we have. There isn't going to be a centre left option of note, not because corbyn is silencing them, but because the centre left lost the last two elections, and has nothing to say that connects with people. If it did, the lib dems would have more than about 4% of the vote share.

Says who?
I'd say they are a certainty to win the next election so your reasoning is not logical and your opinion is a minority one.

It is logical if they form a Government with 38-42% of the total vote which is entirely possible with our GEs.

Why? That's pretty much par for the course. Even landslides don't garner over 50% of the vote.

That would be one interesting staff room.

I think she will around a bit longer yet.

She might still be in Downing Street longer than Corbyn is alive.

Regardless of political hue, I like a leader who is willing to take on other ideas and change stance where it is necessary or the right thing to do. Whether she is doing this willingly or being forced is another question.

Not much I hate more than needless point scoring which doesn't actually improve anything (a bit like these boards when it turns into a left/right ding-dong regardless of the rights and wrongs of the individual case).
