You say that YOU found my reply to "palacenomatterwhat" condescending and that he had replied correctly and with knowledge.

First of all I would point out that he hasn't responded further which would indicate he isn't bothered and did not find my respond condescending.

Secondly, you know fcuk all about the welfare of racing greyhounds and are not in a position to judge whether or not he replied correctly and with knowledge.

The section of his post I took issue with was this part...

I doubt many will be put down, it's the usual scaremongering to worry/force people to take them on.

I felt he was undermining my appeal to get people to wake up to the plight of these dogs and to know that 99.9% of greyhound trainers would put a dog down in a heartbeat if it could not race for any reason at all. They are hardfaced businessmen who look at greyhounds as a commodity to trade and once it is of no value to them it will be discarded as quickly as possible.

Throughout this thread my primary concern is the welfare of the dogs.

You might not like me for whatever reason, but you cannot fault me for not caring about dogs that have a sh1t life except for when people like me take action to save them.

You might be passionate about Greyhounds doesnt mean we all are, being honest i couldnt give a feck about any type of dogs, if i cannot eat it i dont give a s*** about it.

I don't expect people to be as passionate as I am about greyhounds you're right.
