I said 'IF' the player was unhappy.

There will be bids this summer that could lead to problems. You seem to think I want him to leave? Nothing could be further from the truth. I also recognise though that a talent like that deserves medals and trophies not just massive wages.

You are all overlooking the fact Zaha is under contract for another couple of years. Pay him £130k/wk and extend to say 3-4 years or sell him now for minimum £50M.
Football is business not emotion. Surely ou all know that by now.
The decision is do we keep him cos he will be worth more in a year or two and he will help our position or do we capitalise on him now.
My guess is £60 M will prise him away now but £ 130k and stay will keep Wilf sweet and turn him into a superstar and he will end up going for at least £80m to a top European team.
Whichever way it goes Wilf is starting to look very very good.
I really hope we keep him for one or two more years. He will become very special, and so will we.

If only it was simple. There's a similar problem at arsenal with Sanchez and player power is everything. When you run into the last 12- 24 months. The club worry about the size of the fee. I want him to stay but there will be strong interest in the summer. Let's remember Wilf agent was tempted in the summer to push through a move.

Think wilf would find it very hard to turn down a big money move with champions league football to play. Be devastated to lose him, just being realistic. My only hope is that Parish secures Sahko as an 'intent' signing and sells the possibility of us 'doing a leicester' next season.

Contracts aren't important to the media who seemingly have Zaha already sold this summer with only his destination to be decided.

It seems that we are going to offer him £110,000 per week which Zaha is going to reject according to that very same media which to my mind is daft as Steve Parish will just tell him that he can either work out the remaining two years of his contract at £35,000 per week or else a compromise can be reached which will include a tripling of his wages

Helder Costa, Wolves would be a good shout, only 23 years old ripped Liverpool to shreds in the cup this year. Only conern would he make the step up?

I think we should have signed Demarai gray when he was still at Birmingham. Leicester got an absolute steal on him at 2.5.

What they'd want for him now though would probably be in excess of 10 I would think, which we could easily fund if wilf were sold.

Glad i checked before duplicating this post...spot on

Awesome left footed player, but they've just paid for him 15 million and this was because they have signals that big clubs are willing to splash 25 million on him.

Hard imagining him at Palace

No chance of keeping him. He made sounds about leaving after last season. He will definitely want to go this summer, after having been involved in a scrap.

Coentrao is available on a free in the summer. Not needed anymore cause of PVA and Schlupp who are doing ok.

But Coentrao is still a very good player for other clubs
