new manager, new lifeline. play badly under Sam and bye bye. also, the bigger the money the bigger the scrutiny. Not sure if Cabaye has justified that big price tag. Also consistency must be rewarded. Some of our most talented players have a habit of switching off and becoming invisible on the pitch. We all know who they are. The general theme of having 'a major clearout' does seem justified. I would rather see a question mark newcomer than hoping some of last year's failures come good.
