feels like a very long summer with no interest in the back pages of the sunday paper, if you bother with it these days, and little interest in transfer talk on radio!

Ironically next season will be the first since promotion that I will be able to get a season ticket despite having one before we went up. I have had one season ticket in the PL back in 04/5 at the age of 11/12.

Since we have been promoted I have been living in North London at uni during the week and Working weekends to pay for my studies. Finally looks like after graduating I will have a proper adult job and be able to afford the money and time of a season ticket. It's gutting because I love Palace and really want to have a season ticket in the PL.

However it isn't the end of the world and the 4 years we have had should stand us in good stead to bounce back. I don't want us to be cut adrift if we do go down, it has to be a close run fight because we have to remember how to win if we are to bounce back and not do a Wigan or Leeds.

Quality of football will be s***e, coverage will be s***e and away days are much more of a task, but it's still Palace and there are some silver linings as hard as it is to believe.

Kids break through, the cups are no longer a sideshow and you know everyone around you is a proper palace fan.

One thing that worries me is that I have been working on my nephew who is now 5 to be a proud Palace fan despite his grandad being a Utd fan. He wanted a palace kit for Christmas but I don't know if I have done enough to show him the light.

It wouldn't bother me so much if the weed weren't pretty much nailed on for coming up.

3 points against Boro and we might just do it, the break this week couldn't have come at a better time.

Been there to many times it's total sh*t followed by another 10 years of sh*t in the championship if you don't get out in the first year. Welcome to the roller coaster that is Palace. Enjoy!! as most of us have.

The Man City FA cup game gave us a stark warning / reminder of what it's like to have 14,000 in the stadium.

Wolves had 30,000 for Chelsea this evening.

relegation is s***, on the day it happens you feel really low & most probably drink yourself to sleep...then you wake up the next morning still feeling s***, thats down to the hangover.

you will more than likely also wake up with your missus in a mood with you, you wont understand what you done wrong and she also wont tell u leave u guessing.

then you realise that life goes on & in 3 months time the season kicks off again and you will win more games than you did last season.

even tho we will stay up this season, if we dont its not that bad

the bookies have us finishing second from bottom.

the premier league has all the money, the class and the profile. The championship has all the entertainment value and proper fans.

Older, wiser and a lot more important things in my life now compared to previous relegations so I suppose a shrug of the shoulders and that's me over it if it happens this season.

i would be happy for us to do a promotion and a relegation every second year.

bouncing like a yo yo between the top two leagues.

The Championship is fantastic when you are winning. The Prem is a tad dull at times, the players are egomaniacs, the fans are quiet, the goals are few and the match day tickets are extortionate.

not if you are one of the many teams that find they aren't done yet.
dropping again
Villa are a good example.
they'll hang around for a while now like we have in the past

don't wish to go down
