Small window of opportunity, minimal knowledge of the surrounding area and the fact it hasn't been found. Its so much harder to dispose of a corpse than it seems (according to my friend, who is a forensic archaeologist - who funny enough was out looking for Maddie McCann last year).

They obviously can leave your side with the best will in the world they might wander off in a shop, run off in the park and so on. You have to leave them with teachers, nursery workers, family members or friend a and there's obviously risks attached with all of those scenarios but to willingly choose to leave them and bugger off out I just can't work out the thinking behind it

My boy has just turned 24 now but up until he was 23, if anyone had looked at him crossed eyed then I'd have wanted to fight them. I really must learn when to let go....
