Wonder if schlupp or van arnholt can play on the right? If we continue to play wingbacks can't imagine one of them being happy on the bench every week..

Surely playing right footed players at left back has been one of our main issues so far this season. Now you want us to start playing left footed players at right back? It is a squad game and modern footballers understand this. They have to earn the right to a starting place. PVA has earned this with the clean sheet at Bournemouth, as have the rest of that team.

Can't see Milivojevic or Sakho starting, nor for that matter Schlupp. Probably same starting 11 that started at Bournemouth. In terms of Sunderland, the threat Defoe poses is well known but we should be aware of new signing Darron Gibson's strike from distance. And of course Borini has hurst us in the past. Actuallu playing kelly at left back was our biggest problem, ward didnt do a bad job. Silly me though just wondered if players you pay 12m and 14m for might be comfortable using either foot. Obviously not

Obviously not I don't think too many would agree about Ward at LB. Most aren't comfortable using either foot, not even Zaha. There is no reason why we can't use both Schlupp and Van Aanholt, on the left, at the same time. Players out of position has been a major problem, so now we've solved the left-sided problem, let's not start experimenting again.
