Why do we let goals just before the break or just after the break or just before full time? Surely by now the players are aware of this tendency and would guard against it !!!

At least we are consistent in conceding just before half-time. Now we'll come out and play decently for the second half before conceding again somewhere between the 87th and 94th minute. Edited by Direwolf (28 Jan 2017 3.59pm)

Plus it's more than just fitness, it's confidence and discipline and it was never going to be possible to turn around a year or more of Pardew's crap in a matter of weeks.
