We don't have the luxury of a guaranteed replacement for him in this supposedly vital position. Justifying him playing yesterday by saying he was getting match fit is rubbish. It was an unnecessary risk and it backfired. The proof is in the pudding as they say !
He wasn't fit for 90 against Everton, hence the cramping...
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

hindsight could of been managed better due to Schlupp having only 1 speed, & that being full speed ahead.

If its a light hamstring tear it could be as little as 2 weeks. If its severe then its most of the rest of the season. Let us pray, brethren!

Was just crap thankfully. Someone guessing as that's how long he was out for last time. Scan tomorrow? So should know then. Fingers crossed it's only a couple of weeks at the most.

I thought I heard Sam say he'd "tweaked" his hamstring. On the face of it that doesn't sound all that bad but it hasn't been scanned yet and anyway that might be northern-speak for "goosed" for all I know.

Previous hamstring issues Dec 2015.....
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
