I stand "Four square" behind my comments on this thread and I really believe that it is high time that I leave it at this as I have nothing more to add. I shall allow the "Anti-Clattenburg" fraternity to continue their tirade. Edited by Willo (29 Dec 2016 4.47pm) Why is it always him? Have a read, though as chairman of C.U.N.T. Clattenburg's Unbelievably Nauseous Twits you probably know most of it. Of course more has happened since this article

How come "Mark" seemed to forget all about the advantage rule in the FA Cup final when we should of had advantages but in his Champions League final his very next game after I think he was playing advantages all over the place. I await your response.

You'll have a long long wait, Willo never answers a direct question, I've asked him about 10 and all you get are long words which he thinks you don't understand or he just says " don't want to turn this into a Willo thread" or " I'm not going to comment further" ( as you're all being beastly to me)...WUM par excellence!!

I know but it's funny reading his replies confirming him a nothing more than a troll who has way to much time on his hands. EVERYONE knows Battenburg is corrupt. Just funny seeing him defend the indefensible. It's really quite a simple questions aswell.

I await your response. As you asked so politely (Unlike some others) I will afford you the respect of an answer which I have already given a few months ago, and this will be my last post on this thread. 1. Wickham wasn't upright following the challenge and how was Clattenburg to know he would get back up and carry on ? It wasn't as though there was a challenge and the ball broke free to one of our players. So I can totally understand why he didn't apply any "Advantage". 2. The other incident came just inside the Man Utd half and it was not as if there was a great deal of daylight between our player and the defender.Accordingly it was impossible to see if there was any clear advantage.Besides it was a long way from goal, it was not as if there was an obvious goal threat so really there was no great advantage to be had by playing "Advantage". I'm afraid that's it from me on this thread - I know this will disappoint those hell-bent on provoking me and making risible allegations about me.

1. The advabtage became apparent within a couple of seconds. Wickham actually stumbled forward and did not go to ground, and was then some feet ahead of and nearer to the ball than the beaten defender; it was in fact a classic advantage situation, a schoolboy error (if error it was) and a decision which has been widely criticised. 2. Whereabouts on the pitch has no bearing on the application of advantage. Being the second such incident in ten minutes or so, separated by the Rooney penalty non-decision as well, it is easy to see how the referee's application of the Laws can have had a psychological effect on both teams over and above the immediate results of the decisions themselves.

Another link. I could post all night there's so many. Go back to WBA v Palace. Speroni nearly decapitated, Dawson doesn't get sent off. Was this A) in his judgement as a fair and honest referee he didn't feel there was anything in it Or B) He didn't want the hassle of completing post match paperwork as he had somewhere to be. Like a concert, say Ed Sheehan? If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, chances are, it's a duck.

To be fair, sometimes your comments on referees are right and you have more than a point that our Palace fans blame th ref for pretty much everything going wrong. However, surely you can admit the Wickham one was a mistake? I agree Clattenburg isn't as bad as some Palace make him out to be, but he definitely enjoys the spotlight. We're all human, we all make mistakes, as did Clattenburg with the Wickham decision, which you can see in his face he felt anguish at pulling it back too early. Why defend every single decision? Just defend those that are the right dedisions...

Saw Willo jumped in quickly so haven't bothered reading the thread. I could hazard a guess though that it's one page of content and the rest is Willo making it all about him (like his hero) This is what happens when you feed the troll, I doubt this thread is any different.

I would like to attempt at profiling Willo, you know you just get a picture in your minds eye about what someone is like. I wonder how many think along the same lines. Has been a semi professional referee at some stage, or on a referee board. drives a smaller luxury car such as a jag or smaller lexus has a propensity to favour corduroys for trouser wear Is well known at his local but drinks sensibly (2 pints max)
