Yeah me too.

I think the writings on the wall, he has to prove himself soon, or he's gone. Its really as far as I'm concerned now down to the board and the chairman, how much grace he gets.

I think Man Utd probably bought him some grace. The Campbell decision was rubbish, but it didn't really cost us the game. That was the combination of one of the best midfielders in the game, and one of the best goal scorers in the game, and some very dodgy decisions (which both cost us, and kept us in the game)

Even if McArthur was on the pitch, that's still most likely in the back of the net (and is why Pogba is 90m and 290k a week, and Ibrahimovic is 200k a week).

I don't think, on reflection, that the Man Utd result was particularly bad, or lost because of the manager.

But Hull, unacceptable after Swansea and Burnley results. If we played against them with the discipline we played against United, Pardew would be safe in his job.

The board have shown that they are not afraid to act when need be and I am not sure that if Pardew were to be sacked that they wouldn't do something silly like rehire Freedman( record at Bolton and forest no good) Newcastle did stay in the premier league for several years with Pardew. Although this topsy turvy unbeaten runs/ then long losing streaks will continue whilst Pardew is in charge. The reality is that even though we have signed decent players , we have also sold decent players meaning the squad remains relatively thin. It does irk me to see Gayle and Murray scoring in the championship particularly as we may be there next season!

I think the longer he looks like keeping us up, whatever the final position the longer he will be here.

Then come the summer, unless there is some miracle and we win the FA Cup / qualify for Europe, he will be gone.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

I think its just a matter of time, if he doesn't get results. Personally, I'd have pulled the trigger, but I guess the fact it was Burnley away, Hull away and Swansea away might cut him some slack.

But certainly Swansea at home in Jan and Watford at the end of the month are very big games if he wants to redeem himself.

The man surely is in dire need of results to maintain his position into Jan, as surely any plan for replacement will be timed to allow the incoming manager access to the transfer window.

If we stay up, I'm happy. Problem is, we've just dropped points against the teams likely to be in the sticky end of the relegation scrap come the end of the year.

Wasn't there a HOL poll on this. Where do you find the results of the polls?

Have a look on the homepage on this site, latest says 61% want him gone 39% want him to stay.

so your a reluctant out then? surely that means deep down you know hes a bettter manager, and were a better tram than results.

i hear the same parish soundbites about us becoming a proper top half team and getting into europe but we know really hes like us, a fan and i recon he just happy as long as we keep sucking on the titties of this PL cash cow.

we have no right to be beating any team in this league or finishing top half.

maybe i have low expectations or maybe im just a realist.

i would much rather have somebody who cares about the club like pardew who i could actually imagine, and would like to be here for 10 years than some crooked sheister like fat sam or pulis who just only be here for the short term and dont give 2 s***s.

Most managers, that includes Pardew don't give a monkeys about the club they work for. Don't kid yourself, if a better offer came along he would be off like a shot. Freedman was a prime example.....................

I backed Pardew until the Swansea game.

Results aside, the other massive issue for me and the reason we need a new man in before January is the transfers.

Aside from Benteke which was a no brainer, let's look at the some of other players he has brought in.

Sako - Overweight, slow, one-trick pony. Not a PL player.

Lee - Lightweight, tidy in possession but does nothing with it. Constantly played out of position on the rare occasions he can get anywhere near the starting 11. Not a PL player.

Kelly - Simply not good enough regardless if he's playing LB, RB, or CB.

Wickham - Not the worst of the bunch but buying a player with such a lengthy injury record (and questionably attitude when at Sunderland) as our no. 2 striker was not the best idea in the world.

Tomkins - Jury is out. Again a bit of a sick note.

Townsend - We needed to replace LW Bolasie, so he bought RW Townsend. Why?

Remy - Injured for the best part of 2 years. Whilst I consider him to be an upgrade on Gayle when fully fit, it was madness to rely on him being fit and releasing Gayle, especially given our other backup striker Wickham's injury record.

These are just the ones off the top of my head and not one of them has nailed down a starting 11 place (Kelly would not be playing if Souare was fit). To give this guy more money to piss away in January would be madness.

Out. Have wanted him gone since the Liverpool home game last season, should have gone after the final, started to hate him this season. Nothing could get me to change my mind on him, he's a s***house and a fraud and needs to go.
