Under Pulis we had a back 10 not a back 4
Obviously we need to strengthen our defence in the transfer window we only have 2 of our first choice back 4 fit.I am not a massive Pardew supporter but we are so close to having a very decent side in the last window we addressed the attacking situation and are now scoring for fun.Yes there is work to be done but surly chopping and changing managers every couple of seasons will not help us build a decent all round side.Pape's injury has hit us hard this season if we can replace him in Jan, get another right back and another center back we should shoot up the table.I am frankly stunned by the attitude of some "fans" on here do you really expect us to win every game? This season we have never really been out of any game, Yes we have made some silly mistakes and lost a few games we perhaps should have won. This is the premier league there are no easy games all teams have the ability to beat any team in the league.we are doing ok for a small club with , compared to other teams a low budget.We still have work to do but are moving in the right direction.

The manager has to take some of the blame, if it was an anomaly then it would be unfair to blame Pardew but it isn't; this week defense is happening week after week. The players don't know what they're doing or they have no faith in the managers tactical set up. Pullis had the same back 4 (if not weaker) yet we were rock sturdy at the back and every team Pullis goes to is the same.

My point here isn't to praise Pullis but it is purely to show that an effective manager can have a positive impact on a team.

Pardew is out of his depth and if we do go down I will be thankful for the past few seasons as in my time of being a Palace supporter we have been a Championship team. But if we want to remain a premier league team it is time for change, any longer and we will get relegated.

Well the manager ain't sorting it is he ? I saw Wickham shouting at our bench in the Man City game for instructions as who he should be picking up marking wise. He was right next to their player at the time, that player scored their second goal. I would have thought all our players would know who to pick up at free kicks and corners before the game even kicks off, managers job to sort. The players shouldn't have to yell at the bench for those kind of instructions during a game. Pardew has lost it, as I've said before on other threads I never even wanted him in the first place, blows hot and cold at every club he has managed, past his sell by, get rid.

So therefore responsible for their mistakes during a game?

Grow up.
