A very tepid and disappointing 1st half. Let's hope we come out with more fire in the 2nd half - we've created virtually nothing so far.

playing far too deep. punch is in the holding position? and benteke has to come up to the centre circle half of the time just to link up with the others. we've offered nothing. gotta get further up the pitch.

So far one of the worst performances by a referee I've seen for a while. Let Snodgrass get away with persistent fouling before giving him a card yet now is carding Diomande and McArthur for first offences. And that pen decision was a big call and he was well placed to see it. Just seen it again at full speed and it's about the most obvious dive I can remember. Totally incompetent.

For Soton when we had less of the ball, yes. Anyone remember Villa away last season? That all over again, total dross, we're letting them control the game and stop us from playing.
