I think we'll win this by a single goal. But I'm not sure it will be so good for us in the long run, because it will drag out Pardew's inevitable departure.

If only it were White, rather than Yellow!

I'd back the seven dwarves to score against us on a set piece at the moment.

1-3 Saints. Early lead and a capitulation,

On the bright side being a Palace fan has taught me about disappointment!

3 - 0
Benteke gets injured in warm up tackling Dann who limps all game, but Campbell scores and gets 2 assists. Ill leave the other 2 scorers to the gods ( probably own goals)
Okay not likely I know but there you go its 40/1 palace 3-0.

We concede the first goal after 15-20 mins from a set piece. The frustration reaches boiling point. The players go into their shell and are unable to string two passes together. Southampton knock it around for an hour, the fans go silent, some bizarre substitutions take place, we miss a couple of decent chances and Southampton split our defence open with a couple of simple passes to score and cruise home. One of the bizarre substitutes, a Campbell/Mutch type scores a meaningless consolation after a bit of penalty area pinball in the last few minutes.

Would probably only get evens on that.

Sadly - you might be right.
We do need to support the team tomorrow come what may to show how much we are behind them even if not behind AP.
One of those horrible days tomorrow - I so want us to win but if we do does that buy AP time?
A 1-1 draw perhaps with us scoring in the last minute?
Yesterday though I said an ugly win so take no notice of me!

Heavens !

Southampton have only scored 3 goals in their last 5 league games.
But Van Dijk is a threat at set-pieces !

So what ? Swansea hadn't scored 3 goals all season and put 5 past us. You really are unable to see just how s*** AP is as a coach.

Southampton have a good defence with probably on form one of the best CB's in the division. Going on our current form I can see a heavy loss.

Hope it's this week's coupon buster but can't see anything but a easy Southampton win. 1-3 or 2-4.

They have only taken 5 from a possible 18 points away from home this season - cause for optimism?
Palace have only taken 3 from a possible 18 at home - cause for pessimism!
Game on though if nothing else.

Have a look at Swansea's record before they played us.

I think a heavy defeat would definitely spell the end for Pardew no matter how costly.
