'The truth is rarely pure and never simple'

Palace have not gained from this lost a very good manager.

Probably will be relegated mainly due to lack of organisation.

Plus being a bunch of overpaid t***s.

He wanted out and tried to shaft us. He lied, about why he wanted the money and then to the tribunal. He then lied to the court

It really is that simple

Despite keeping the club up I have never liked him. He's a fraudster and yet he gets to remain a highly paid manager in the Premier League. If he held his hands up and went 'I'm sorry' then fair enough, but he has continued trying to wriggle his way out. If we were a bigger club this would be all over the papers and he would be crucified.

In theory he should get sacked from WBA for bringing the fame into disrepute

Except for that meeting being held on a Friday!

If you come to a fork in the road, take it.

I wonder why he wanted out so badly? He had turned things around and should have been excited about what he could have done at Palace. He told Pards to take the job as it was a great opportunity. Doesn't make sense really.

There must have been something going on behind the scenes that we don't know about and this being a football forum there have been countless people presenting their opinions and guesses as fact but the real truth is that no-one knows and after all this time probably never will

I don't know, Pulis might need to write an autobiography now

He is either stupid or arrogant or both.
Had he stayed another 2 weeks it wouldn't have mattered and yet he leaves early, is clearly in breach of contract and has now been well and truly found out.
It won't stop at £3.75m once his legal fees are taken into account.
What amazes me is that a Firm of Lawyers took it on seeing as it was so obviously his fault.
Forget haircuts and meetings - when the contract says you have to still be at the Club on August 31st 2014 to get your bonus then that is where you need to be!
What an idiot but well done CPFC2010 for following it through to the end.

How, he quit. He lied about why he wanted the money early, then fabricated a false story to justify quitting.

F**k him. He should be investigated for obtaining money by deception. If he'd been in an actual court, he'd be charged with perjury.

No surprise that Messrs Bannan, O'Keefe and Lewis are no longer with the club. To quote the judge they "misremembered' the meeting date that was crucial to Pulis's evidence. Parish and the board knew that all along.
