Which is the right answer. It's a shame some of our more fickle supporters cannot see that the performances have been there for the best part of this season so far, and the players are most definitely still with him and until that changes he will have my support. Our luck will change and a transfer window in January will also help. A sacking usually happens around now so a a new manager has a transfer window.
What HAS to change is to defend a lot better. 12 goals conceded in the last 4 games is not down to bad luck. Edited by Willo (20 Nov 2016 8.43pm)

I agree with you Willo but I can't see the improvement happening under Pardew Originally posted by Willo

Palace would've claimed at least a memorable draw against City yesterday had it not been for abject defending within both away goals, that no manager can hold himself really responsible for. Players concerned including Cabaye know that they committed school boy errors in marking and clearance. These errors haven't been in isolation.

Just a recurrent theme. This defence should have well & truelly been sorted out by now it's obvious this should have been sorted looking at the balance of the team it's lopsided & poorly managed/organised. The football you could argue isn't bad in a attacking sense the defence is a complete joke needs strengthening. Edited by lancseagle (20 Nov 2016 9.29pm)

Games like yesterday are just confirmation bias at this stage. If you're pro-Pardew, or even just ambivalent we played good football and were more than worthy of a point, we just made stupid mistakes and got punished. We even may have stumbled upon something with Wickham off Benteke and Punch on the left. If you're anti-Pardew then it's just another notch in the L column. Hard to really take that much from it.
Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time. |

Meanwhile Talk S***e, who never evdn mention Palace normally, have been on about what a shoogly peg Pardew's coat is on and what has to happen before he gets his jotters. You really believe bookies no nothing about football, when millions of £s are placed in bets.

There is nothing wrong with our players (well most of them anyway) and it's the coaching, tactics and motivation that needs to improve and buying new players won't change that. It's only a few months that we were all complaining that Dann wasn't being picked for England yet now his captaincy and organisational skills have all but disappeared. Townsend was an inspiration for Newcastle yet he's now just a shadow of the player that he was

I am remembering the Peter Taylor management era when we we so bad you didnt want to go to any of the games. and you were almost hoping for another loss so the useless manager could get the sack and somebody competent could be appointed. SackPardLose.ie The difference between then and now - we are not playing as bad as that. Taylor era was when I gave up my season ticket as I couldn't bear to go. At least there is some excitement in games at the moment - just sort out the defence and points will come our way. Pards ain't going anywhere just yet.
