No, all he had to say publicly was ...."any manager worth his salt would know that you have to have a solid defence first and foremost and with regards to our dreadful defensive record, as manager it's down to me to sort the problems out which, I am currently on my way to the training ground to start. Basically the buck stops with me" Basically taking responsibility!

..so you imagine he isn't?
Do you think our actual playing players are actually all able to defend exactly how he wants them to or are you like me in thinking with this defence there is no point in lying to the fans that they are not going to be able to defend in every game without making silly individual mistakes, mistakes that have absolutely the same impact on Mr Klopp's defence..except liverpool are going to be able to bring in world class replacements and we....well we won't, because we are ferking little ferking Crystal ferking Palace playing in the best football league in the ferking world....you lot are really really silly.

I'd rather lose 3-2 than 1-0 - at least that way we see our team score two goals - so I can see where he's coming from. Better than Dougie's policy of trying to stick to the point you started the game with.

However, that's no excuse to not try and sort out the keeper/defence problems. Conceding first in 14 of our last 16 league games means we are always having to chase the game and, like Saturday. in danger of conceding another goals on the break.

..so you think that Mr Pardew says to his team as they leave the dressing room ..'don't forget lads to give them the early lead ..OK and at every opportunity after that when they try to score ...you MUST FERK IT UP! like I've shown you on the training ground....OK!

..I'm not just picking on you OK.

Safe survival not a priority more like. And I mean that when there's no points coming in and he goes all out for 3 and ending up with zero. The 2 biggest lash ups that stand out are Liverpool at home last season and Burnley this. He is the only manager that doesn't value prem points and that is risky. Very risky looking at the way our fixtures are going to test us.

..so, Mr Pardew made McCarthy boot that ball to that Liverpool player...I never realised that Mr Pardew could do that, how silly am I, so of course that being the case he not only made Delaney get in a tangle with Benteke but he also made the ref award Liverpool a ferking winning penalty! it all makes perfect sense now, we must sack him and quick!

..what if teams don't allow you to?

..very nicely put.

shocking statement by AP, You think 30 games since the start of the year and 22pts would tell him his plan is not working. I want to watch my team in the top flight so 1-0 at home and 0-0 away would do fine with me!

..but it is.

I'd be more worried if he said they had been his priority, and he nevertheless failed to attain any.

What he ought to say is 'getting clean sheets is now our priority'. If we don't sort that defence out we're spiralling downwards.

..saying that would make it worse because the players we have are just not good enough to stop making mistakes which is obvious really, except none of you on here can grasp that or you just prefer to presume Mr Pardew cannot communicate with them in any form.

Have a look at the all the empty seats at the Hawthorns next time WBA are playing at home after a full season of Pulis.

I am not saying that things will not improve because they might.
However - whilst also not defending Pulis football I had more fun with him as Manager when we stayed up, backs against the wall stuff etc than I am having right now despite the fact that we have one or two better players!
Watching us counter attack was brilliant fun.
Watching us get beaten by Burnley, West Brom and more is not nice at all!

At least WBA will get the premier league funding and TV payments which will not be available at the same level in the championship which on current is where we are going!
