None of which really cost the club anything, pay peanuts and get monkeys.... what's the point? He's working to a budget set by the pay master. Sako was a championship player of the year, fare punt on a free. No? I'm pretty sure Parish had said the club got its transfer policy wrong trying to sign good championship players and that's now changing. Not sure this can continuously be laid at just pardews door. Now if Pardew had been telling parish to spend £10M on each of those then yes there's an issue. But really they've cost the club nothing in transfer fees really. Which shows just how tight the purse strings have been. And rightly so. Plus we were subject to FFP restrictions which meant that up until this summer Our options were limited

Leagues are never run over a calendar year, so that argument is totally irrelevant. Again, taking everything into account we are about where we should be, and if a few of our chances had gone in we would be much better off and therefore punching well above our weight. Still way too soon to panic ladies and gents. There have been cases of managers sacked after say 10 or 11 games into a season, NOT solely because of results since the start of the campaign because of the way they finished the previous season. Over the last half of last season we only won 2 out of 19 league games, 1 of which was against relegated Norwich. Now we have lost 4 on the bounce, which could easily ended up being 5 after the Man C game and "Leaking" goals. So one can understand why there are those who want a change of manager as they see a continuation of poor form at the end of last season and are fearful of our prospects.

Why? ..are we bottom and completely cut off. Look at how the team are creating opportunities in every single game, silly individual mistakes can and will be sorted by the players themselves. ..everyone take a step back. Because at the time he was an upgrade and that's what you want every year. I ain't calling for his head, but in the Summer I thought Rafa would of been a good move. Sorry

Last seasons results have no bearing on this seasons table. We are 15th and its the first week in November, and to my knowledge no team has ever been relegated in 15th spot after 11 games. We are leaking goals but we are also scoring them which we were not doing last season so there is an improvement. If we are bottom 3 at christmas i would think then would be time to look at change.

Having watched yesterday's game and indeed the last few performances it is totally obvious that there is a major defensive problem. We keep being told that we have good defenders and defensive midfield players yet we keep conceding poor goals. Our organisation is poor, have the players really bought into what AP trying to do. If he can't get his message across, and it looks like he can't, it maybe time for a change. Like a good deal of our supporters I think we have a squad that is capable, but it's not delivering. Time to take a good look as to why. If change is needed it will need to be sooner rather than later.

I have taken 'Soundings' today from quite a few supporters of our club. These people are sensible, intelligent, mature chaps and NOT prone to 'Knee jerkery' and rash conclusions. The vast majority are of the opinion that a change needs to be made sooner rather than later otherwise they can foresee a rapid descent that cannot be arrested.

Some will look at the following squad players currently at the club signed by Pardew and reflect accordingly : Flamini,Sako, Lee, Mutch, Anderson, Ladapo, Jonathan Benteke. And from previous seasons : ..rather unfortunately we are a gamble buying enticing club because we haven't the dosh to compete with the rich and then the players who are left over have a lot of other choices as good as us to sniff around.

I really don't know how FPP affected other clubs. All I was saying that we all have to adhere to FPP restrictions so we are not unique. Leaving aside us as an example, every club has financial limits which restrict them in the 'Transfer Market' so how they use this money is very important.
