Getting on a bit, worn out ,his legs are going ,blimey he's only just turned 32!
He may not be the most skillful player in the world but I don't think you can question the Jedi's fitness .

Seems like we did a good bit of business, £4m for a worn out player.

Doubtless many on here, still want him back, god knows why.

Mainly because we still retained inferior midfielders that we should have gotten rid of before Jedinak; Ledley, Mutch and now Flamini. I don't buy that he was past it, we saw one of his better performances in the cup final.

It was only good business had we gotten a proper replacement.. we didn't...

..he was good for stopping enemy play, not so good with the friendly, we are in the middle of a situation where we need him as much as we don't.

Pardew has his team slap bang in the middle of a transitional period, one where we relied on teams attacking us and making mistakes to one where we are not relying on mistakes to attack but one where teams facing us are waiting for us to make mistakes.

..transitional in the sense of having Benteke who alongside Wickham is able and willing.

I don't think we need Jedinak himself at his current stage of his career but need "A Jedinak" if you see what I mean.Someone like a Jon Obi Mikel but I suspect we might not be able to agree on wages.Maybe Jack Cork who as well as playing in a holding midfield role can slot into defence.

Say what you like about jedinak, but I reckon if he'd have come on vs Burnley instead of Ledley we wouldn't have conceded. Basesless
supposition that maybe, but reckon it's likely true
