Because last season, you and a few others had to argue with anyone who said that Hennessey wasn't good enough, by demanding he was given the season to prove himself. He was given the season and didn't prove himself. Now, fast forward a season and the same few of you are demanding that WH is reinstated, after giving the new goalie only a handful of games to prove himself. I said WH should be given a chance because of all the speeoni fan boys going ape that he got dropped. Not a massive fan of Hennessey but was glad he replaced speroni, and at the moment mandanda has not exactly filled me with confidence. Would be happier if we had got Begovic tbh.

He was partly culpable for the fourth goal only along with Dann who had an unusually poor game. The inference that Hennessey commanded his area on here is laughable.

We have had problems defending set pieces all season including both West Brom's and Spurs' winning goals. In both of those games Hennessey was in goal so I do not think the problem can be blamed on whether Mandanda comes for the ball or not. I do not think Mandanda is such a massive upgrade on Hennessey as people make out but I do not think it is a question of poor goalkeeping, more a lack of marking, poor organisation and lax concentration by our central defenders including Dann. The answer is clearly hard work on the training ground. Lets hope that is what is happening this week.
