I don't understand why anyone who was there has not acknowledged that, 10 minutes into the game, he blatantly gave our fans the w****r sign right in front of them and then tried to gee up the Everton crowd to drown our support out. I wasn't there but good mates on FB have written about it and I hope someone has recorded it on their phone. He was a total frustration for me as a player with no end product and I, like many others, was delighted with the deal. When he comes back it's going to interesting to see him take a corner in front of Block B, which of course wont make the six yard line. Because he blatantly didn't! Yes, he did gee up the Everton fans in response to the Palace fans giving him some stick and he was trying out of his skin, but that was fair enough. Everton are his club now and he was doing his best for them. I gave him some stick duringthe game, butat the end he came over, without intruding on Palace celebrations, applauded us and gave a thumbs up! Most Palace fans applauded him back. Just as it should be! And I was there! Edited by salop-eagle (03 Oct 2016 1.20pm)

I have consistently said that Bolasie can go from PL to 'Sunday League' in the space of minutes then back again. Actually I heard someone once say that he goes from 'World Beater' to 'Panel Beater' but this does seem a bit cruel on panel beaters ! Bolasie does something that has supporters thinking "Wow" then these same supporters will be tearing their hair out shortly afterwards. But I agree he does produce moments of magic. I think this highlights the problem. Yala is capable of a few fantastic moments in a game, and people seem to think, he should be doing 'that all the time', rather than realising that only the very best players in the world have that kind of consistency. He's not someone we signed from Real Madrid, he's a kid who we signed for 400k who couldn't get in a s**t Bristol City line up. Its like complaining that Calvin Andrew isn't good enough. Of course he wasn't, but he was good for 80k and 2k a week.

Yes it had soured a little in the last couple of games he played for us and some of his comments have seemed a little poor taste (but completely expected as a player joining a new team), but he gave 5 years of excellent service and has made us a tonne of money on his transfer. And entirely consistent with challenges he made for us. 25m quid, our fans should have been f**king laughing. Also one of their best players on the night.

I've got a mammoth amount of respect for Bolassie. He has moved on to Everton FC but what can't be questioned is how Palace profited from his time at the club and his transfer fee.

Before game: Big round of applause from us when his name was read out. Fond memories before and after the game, the enemy during. Exactly as it should be.

Never gonna have bad feelings for the bloke. Was with us through thick and thin. With us before we were promoted. First Palace player to score a hat-trick in the Premier League. Made us a fair bit of cash when he left. Now he wants to move on. It's a known fact if a team doesn't change, it eventually fails. He'll always be remembered as a Palace great. Good luck to him!

In my humble opinion he's a top guy....I was a couple of rows back at the friendly at AFC Wimbledon and when he was subbed Yannick took a lot of trouble to stop and sign programmes, take selfies etc. I'm just relieved he didn't destroy us at Everton. Palace legend.
