We are awful again and fair few players look like they have had a few too many down the pub. I can see us having a player sent off in this game Edited by grumpymort (30 Sep 2016 8.47pm)

This is the same ref who gave a penalty against us at Man. Utd. a couple seasons ago when the offence was clearly a yard or two outside the area! Then proceeded to send off Dikgacoi !

Was never a free-kick in the first place.

Mandanda did what a goalkeeper should do there, set up the wall to cover his left hand side of the goal and be in a good position to cover the right and middle of the goal. Unfortunately for him, the wall didn't bother jumping. I hear what you're saying and I agree normally the wall covers half and the goalkeeper the other but the free kick was quite far over so in my opinion he should have been more centre, you could see where he was going to put it. It wasn't top bins.

We have been very sloppy whereas Everton have been sharp. We'll need a big improvement to turn this around but we're in good form.

We look very average.Their build-up play is far more crisp and inventive. Our only tactic is to get the ball out to Zaha.Benteke hasn't been in the game and has been beaten in the air on a few occasions.Need to pull their bloody socks up. Edited by Willo (30 Sep 2016 8.50pm)

Not the end of the world at 1-0. They look sharper up front than us. Ledley looks a little off the pace - perhaps him to make way at half time.
