Typical negativity towards the HF. A sideshow? Really? They spend more time, money, dedication than half the tools on this site and for a far more positive and lasting outcome. When people talk about palace, the first thing they speak of is the fans. Is that you Hoof? Are you chucking out thousands of pounds and hours a season planning and preparing displays? Nah mate, you're on here being an absolute helmet.

What an idiot you are. So you think spending money and time on banners and displays (some of which are political and have no place at football) makes you 'more of a fan' does it?
In my eyes it just makes you a little bit of a saddo with too much time on your hands but ho hum.

I started supporting Palace on the Holmesdale terrace as a 6 year old in 1963.

Over the years I've invested more time and money in supporting the club than 99% of other fans I would say, but it makes me just a loyal fan.

I don't remember the other Palace fans having a whip round to pay for my trip to Southend to watch Palace away after work on a friday night and not getting there till half-time due to traffic either.

In that time I've had very few reasons to not watch the action 100% and get behind the team vocally let alone prepare beforehand a ripped up bedsheet with Fabreze or whatever written on it and demonstrate in front of the Holmesdale dressed like a terrorist on a mission.

The HF seem to think they are a mouthpiece for every Palace fan with their crusade against Sky and other political statements.... and they have the cheek to look for donations to fund these "displays" which often look amateurish and embarrassing.

If anyone is a "helmet" it's you for not having the balls to tell the HF that they don't own the right to hijack our home and away games and should stick to singing songs and wearing our actual colours instead of looking like the phantom flan flinger from TISWAS. They could do worse than get in sync with the lads in the Arthur who don't look for overblown gestures or displays and just loyally belt out Palace songs that we can all join in with.

Tools and helmets..... interesting adjectives to describe fellow fans by the way.... what a charmer.

Highlighted bit made me laugh out loud. Mainly because it is actually true!

No they should stick to supporting the team like the rest of us and dump the messages all together. They don't represent any Palace fans except their own little gang. 1. no one cares. 2. Its boring. 3. It's becoming a little embarrassing.

If you don't think the HF add to the atmosphere your a lemon who needs to remember what it was like before them. No where near as loud or encouraging to the team and unfortunately that's a fact.
In my opinion nearly everything they say or banner they make is spot on in terms of message and reason behind it. They are dreamers and see things that aren't there. Most people are not dreamers and don't think about the little things the elite are constantly changing for only their benefit. I doubt anyone on here is part of the elite so be grateful! :p

Ok the guy was shouting a few bad words and fingering the camera guy. Haha. But I think as someone said they didn't want to firstly record the banner. Then they did so guess the guy kind of got the result he wanted. Few swearing gees Rooney does it weekly to the refs face that's not a problem though a.

But anyway I hope they stay. Rather them than some of the boring farts who slate Souare/ Cabaye/pardew etc etc yet never played a game of football at a high enough level to actually know enough.

I like that "phantom flan flingers".
I'm a bit bored with the phantom....oops I mean Ultras. They run on the pitch confront players in the tunnel without any repercussions, act aggressively towards Sky camera men for no apparent reason, strut around all dressed in black ,what's all that about ?Now there are incidents involving them at away matches.
I don't really go to Selhurst Park to read political statements I go there to watch football.
They can make lots of noise but we don't need the extras.

So your happy with all the money in football going up the ladder yeah?
Happy with your kids or nephews/nieces or friends children having minimal chance to buy a property in the future and probably paying the extortionate rent these rich will charge who develop and then buy/rent out property instead of leaving as parks or community areas yeah?
Happy with tesco/Sainsburys buying up small businesses then shutting them down so your forced to go buy their dying/pesticide ridden fruit and veg yeah?
Happy with having no decent clubs to socialise in anymore?
Hence they divide and conquer. Maybe your an agent!!
I'd say a football club can do a little more than just football when they can reach 20k/30,000 people.

Gees I bet MLK/Ali/Corbyn was/is boring and embarrassing to you!!

"THESE TWO COLOURS UNITE US ALL" said an HF display.

So they dress in black.

Ohhhh....you mean this was an opportunistic p!sstake meant to belittle a section of Palace supporters who have the unending temerity to pitch up every week in all weathers, sing their hearts out while refusing to conform with the norms of footy fashion?

They can wear what they like but let's face it if you decide to set yourself apart, be different and make a statement either with your dress, conduct or words then people will have opinions on it. That's life.
