Is this just jocular speculation? Hard to tell even with the presence of a smiley and based upon your normal 'i'm in the know' posts.
If you do know something why post a teaser if you're then not going to give us info - it's just trolling and bloody annoying.

West Ham fan here. Many West Ham fans myself included are really gutted to see Tomkins go and many look at it as a mistake to release him. There's some sentimentality based on him having come all the way through our academy from a youth player but also his versatility and consistency in defence is really impressive and he's been solid everywhere he's been asked to play.

He does it just by getting on with it and working his nuts off and will always give 100%. You want your defenders to be strong and Tomkins ticks that box. He only really dropped down the pecking order when Bilic bought Ogbonna who's at the Euros with italy and he;s also had to compete with Collins (at the Euros with Wales) and Reid who's a New Zealand international.

You've got yourself a really good player and I've been impressed with your other recent signings. Anyway he'll always get a great welcome when you come to play us.

Thanks for the info I always trust what fans say about their own players so if this comes off it sounds like we have a very tidy player.
