I think Kiwi means the 'missing' 30k + that go to neither club, not the 28k that we get allocated A lot of those 34k seats aren't controlled by Wembley as they have been sold off on long leases to individuals and companies. Whatever you think about that it happened 10 years ago so it's been known for a long time and Wembley and the FA can now do little about those seats. The whole middle tier is off limits to fans of the clubs actually playing. They could probably make a few more available to fans rather than giving them away in competitions or to small local clubs and charities, which they do for the final to a greater extent than the semis. I personally don't like Wembley for the reason that it's so geared up for corporate hospitality and private ownership of large swathes of the ground. Makes it too much like Twickenham for my liking. But there's little point whinging about it as there's not much that can be done even if the FA/Wembley wanted to.

The reduced allocation for the final relative to the semifinal seems a valid enough complaint. Thousands of fans who went to the semi-final are going to miss out on the final. That's bollocks. And this isn't happening because there aren't enough seats. The seats are there. It's just suddenly they're now needed for non-fans. It's silly. (Actually I was in the second to last phase for the semi-final. But still doubt I'll get anything for the final.) When we went in 1990 we had 19,000 tickets, united 24,000. It was 25,000 last year to each side so 28,500 each this year, progress is being made but the prices are going through the roof. Thing is that nearly all these tickets end up in the hands of Palace or United fans through the black market. You can buy tickets already through various sites.

My two oldest are 5 and 7. Was thinking about taking them, but think they aren't old enough. Agree to be honest. Mates took his two lads Sunday 6 & 7 was a long day for them and they cant handle their drink either. Not forgetting we are playing at 5.30 against the scum, the atmosphere will be different to Sundays and no doubt there will be trouble.

I'm guessing I'll be able to get something. First will see if I can just scrape in through the club. Then if that fails try other avenues.

My friend is on the season ticket waiting list there, but goes to all the cup games when the season ticket holders don't want to go see them vs Exeter or anyone else. He got tickets for the League Cup final because he had been to all the cup games seems Utd are doing the same. So more real fans and less of the prawn sandwich brigade for Utd.

As a result the CW section is being drastically reduced leaving, hopefully, more tickets for football fans.

Other than the price, I don't think we have a lot to moan about.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

We would suggest keeping an eye on our website for further information and expect to make an announcement at some point this week."
