I see his partner arrived at court with him. She looks attractive. Always amazed when women stand by their man when they've strayed. I think she had their child around the time of the offence so I guess she's trying to make it work for the sake of their child. Fair play to Sunderland for doing the right thing. Well if she split she wouldn't be getting much maintenance from him in the foreseeable future.

He's clearly done something wrong but think a lot of the reactions has been a bit over the top. The way people are talking are like he raped a five year old not had consenting sex. In many countries, this wouldn't have been an issue as ages of consent vary. For me morally, the basic questions are: 1. Was it consenting sex? As the answer to number 3 is yes, then he deserves punishment but I think putting it into context is important when thinking about it.

A 28 year old man groomed a 15 year old schoolgirl, what context should we be thing about?
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

think with the way the law is at the moment you cant consent if under 16...also a 28yr old man should be able to work out that she is under 16, the law i think is different if he was say 18, think he might be going away for a while

You should read what's been revealed in court today, if you'd like context.

Johnson will get a serious beating from the Nonce squad when he goes to prison. Well done Sunderland for sacking him.
Quick fact where the word NONCE comes from. In prison on exercise you have to walk in a circle. Sex offenders had to walk in the opposite direction from normal prisoners. They were "Not On Normal Circular Excercise"
