Everyone Welcome,

The Club Presentation Evening takes place on Saturday 16th May at Mayfield Stadium from 7.30pm.

A cup winning season is worth celebrating but when you add to that a promotion too and it promises to be a great night.

During the evening the Manager's and Players' Player of the Year will be both be presented along with the top scorer award. In addition, the Supporters' Player of the Year, voted for by the fans themselves, will be handed over. For the first time awards will also be made to the u18 Youth Team and there will be other presentations too.

We hope that as many of the supporters as possible will be able to come and celebrate this season's achievements. There will be food available and the chance to dance the night away too.

AFC Croydon Athletic have been notified by the Football Association that we will be playing in the Southern Counties East Football League next season.

The Rams leave behind the Combined Counties League who were very welcoming after we had reformed in 2012. On behalf of the Club we wish the many friends we have made well and look forward to seeing them again in the event our paths cross.

We also look forward to joining some near neighbours in the former Kent League. Although we will plan for the longer trips to play the likes of Deal Town, Ashford United and Canterbury City we will also see some local derbies. Fisher FC, Holmesdale and Beckenham Town all played in that league last season as well as the likes of Cray Valley PM, Erith Town and Erith & Belvedere with whom we have clashed in Cups in recent times.

It also means that the Rams join the Trams. Croydon FC finished 19th in the league last season so bragging rights will be at stake too.
Further details will be published on this website in due course.

27th May

As the Rams prepare to embark on a new season in a new league they are pleased to announce a number of commercial opportunities for the season ahead.

The Club is looking for sponsors large and small to support growth of the club. As a supporter owned company every penny raises is reinvested into the Club.

Download the brochure or email the club at info@afccroydonathletic.co.uk for more details.

FA Competition Draw is Announced
 11 hours ago, By Website Administrator
Two rounds were drawn across each of the three competitions entered and the Rams managed to be drawn away from home in each tie, the luck of the draw.

In the FA Cup the drawn has matched the side with Horsham YMCA at Gorings Mead. They finished 5th last season in the Sussex County Football League (now Southern Combination). They spent several years in the Ryman League and will be tough opposition. The winners will face either Selsey or Erith Town in the Preliminary Round. Selsey, a division below Horsham YMCA, will be looking for a shock against fellow Southern Counties East Football League side Erith Town.

The FA Vase sees the Rams back in the 1st Qualifying Round and they are again away from home as they make the trip down to play Bexhill United FC. Bexhill finished sixth in the Sussex County Football League Division Two. The winners of this tie travel to play Hollands & Blair who won the Kent Invicta League last season and are fellow newbies in the SCEFL.

In the FA Youth Cup the Young Rams make the long journey to take on Dover Athletic in the 1st Qualifying Round. The winners of this tie will make the journey to take on Tonbridge Angels.

The FA Cup tie takes place on Saturday 15th August whilst the FA Vase journey to Bexhill-on-Sea takes place on Saturday 5th September.

3rd July

So much for community spirit. I would give thieves 5years suspended no early release so any second offence would need some serious thought from them.

AFC Croydon Athletic have been handed a tough opening fixture at Mayfield Stadium on Saturday 8th August as the league fixtures are announced.

The Rams will host Erith & Belvedere, who finished 3rd last season, as the curtain raiser. The Rams met The Deres last season in the FA Cup at their Park View Road ground and will be looking to reverse that result.

On Tuesday 11th August the Rams travel to Beckenham Town and then after the FA Cup trip to Horsham YMCA they will host Ashford United who were last season's runners up on Saturday 22nd. On Wednesday 26th August they make the journey to play Cray Valley PM.

On August Bank Holiday Monday the Rams host the first of the Croydon derbies as they entertain Croydon FC at Mayfield Stadium. The return fixture at the Croydon Sports Arena is set to take place on Boxing Day.

Hopefully there won't be to many clashes with the Mighty Palace

Good stuff, hoping to get to more Croydon games this season. I'm a season ticket holder at Carshalton Athletic but now that our midweek home games have been moved to Monday nights, hopefully it will free up time to get across to Croydon. I went a few times before the collapse of Croydon Athletic, but haven't been since the resurrection. I'd love it if both clubs could be in the same division again though.
