Fairly delusional, Zaha is by far the better option. One season of not playing more than substitute for massively underperforming teams doesn't make Puncheon better. Puncheon is good, no mistaking, but he has a terrible history of inconsistency, underperformance and not turning up for games. He's been excellent for us under Pulis, and I think Pulis has brought the best out of him, like Warnock did with Ambrose.
Murray scored 31 goals in the championship last season does that make him a better goal scorer then Luis Suarez who scored less in the premier league. You talk about consistency and forget last year Wilf had a period when he was truly awful. Edited by EastEndPalace (04 May 2014 1.04pm)

I don't think you can compare them at the moment. What you could compare is how good was/is each player whilst they played, or are playing for Palace. If this is compared Wilf is miles better, some say he went missing at times but where was Jason for the majority of this season it's really only the last 12 games he's done very well. Wilf plus Murray equalled promotion. If he was not with us last season we would not be in the prem. IMO Edited by wainesworld (02 May 2014 6.23pm)
Puncheon at Palace=Premier League ripping teams up like Everton and Chelsea.

When Puncheon could've done what Wilf did to teams in any league in the world last season, be it prem or league 2 - let me know. There's a massive difference between the 2. People are f***ing deluded and have ridiculous memories on here I swear to god. He has been managed poorly as soon as Holloway stepped in up until now and that is what went wrong. But comparing him to Punch after last season? Even in the championship, really? f***ing hellll

You are really thick, aren't you. Answer the question as to how many live Cardiff games you've seen this season where Wilf has been playing for them? Dwight Gayle is one of our players and you don't mind saying he's sh!t.

I watched Cardiff play Villa and Wilf was poor then Match of the Day and Newspapers have been giving him poor reviews.

The bit in bold is irrelevant as he obviously couldn't do the flash skills but does that make Wilf a better player when Puncheon contributes with goals, assists and chance creation.

Just so you know I was there on Wilfs first home start(I think) when he scored against Leicester under Burley we won 3 2 I think Lee and Ambrose got the others.

Plus the games I have seen of him. I am not being funny but if he plays poorly MOTD and the papers highlight it. If they were giving false reviews it would be saying how great he is because he is a young English talent. Frozen out of the England u21 squad, not getting games for Cardiff, ineffective whenever he plays in the premier league, Pundits and all of the football world saying he is not up to it. But he is after all better then Puncheon because we saw him nuture and run rings around championship sides. Just so you know I was there on Wilfs first home start(I think) when he scored against Leicester under Burley we won 3 2 I think Lee and Ambrose got the others.
You say that the papers would normally exaggerate a young English talent, what planet are you on, the Sun just before every major tournament 'discovers' some bomb shell that relates to someone in the squad or the manager, they want to sell papers and have zero interest in reporting anything like the facts.

I would have Wilf before Puncheon any day. Class if permanent and form temporary. Let's buy him back - making a decent profit still - and give him a run of games in Prem. Maybe if Moyes had shown him some faith - he looked ok in Charity shield - then he may not have got sacked!! I would also have Moses in the team ahead of Puncheon. This is not saying he hasn't had a good few months, but there are better players around and if we can now attract them and build on this season let's do it.
