I haven't read every reply on this thread, so apologies.

But the OP was 'is Pulis interested in good football?'. Which is daft as it isn't the right question.

Pulis was bought in to keep us up, not play 'good football'. His job is to keep us up no matter what. Goofball , hoofball, 11 behind the ball...if that's what he thinks will do it, then that's what he is being paid (reportedly) one mill as a bonus to do.

He may well love a fluid, Barcelona style of football, but that ain't the brief. Therefore 'is Pulis interested in good football' ain't the right question.

Nobody in their right mind holds up Holloway and his final few months as the holy grail to pretty football, but let's not delude ourselves into thinking that our current method of play is only because of the players Pulis inherited. This is what you get, and will always get under TP. Players like Williams never got a chance under TP because they aren't 6 foot and arent always looking to defend for the whole 90 minutes.
I will always support the Club through and through but don't see having an opinion on whats currently being dished up as being disloyal to anyone involved with Crystal Palace FC.

Tough to watch the past couple of weeks but those of you wanting TP to be gone for next season need to be reminded of some things... 1) How long did it take us to get a manager in here in the first place? TP wasn't beating down our door to coach here. These aren't his players he's doing a Stoke with. He has the job of keeping us up. He can make us better at playing direct/counter TP football next season with another wave of moneyship cash in our coffers. Yeah, it's really dire stuff we are seeing right now but who honestly thought we would have our destiny in our hands by mid March? I don't like what I'm seeing out there but I understand why I'm seeing it. This truly looks like a case of getting worse before getting better.

No, obviously but will this mentality keep us up ???...the more I see of it the more I don't think so

Showing virtually NO attacking intent might get us the odd 0-0 but if the West Broms, Fulhams and Cardiffs of this world decide to take some risks and start getting the odd result it will see us overhauled pretty quickly

After last week and today I think now we will definitely be bottom three unfortunately... something has got to change and Pulis is simply not going to do it

If I was Gayle or Bannen I would simply hand in a transfer request now - if you cant even get 5 minutes at the end with the dross that is going on out there at the moment then you never will

Whilst I haven't read the whole thread I just wanted to pose the question here... how many games have we drawn 0-0 under Pulis....

I wish people would stop apologising for the TP style by saying it is the type of game that will keep Palace in the prem. It aint.

Simple enough, if he's being briefed to keep us up, he'll do it. If the brief says do something else, he'll do it. I've watched a lot of managers over the years, Pulis has got what it takes to be a successful Palace manager. He's hungry and we need hungry, if he keeps us up I think he deserves to be here. If he doesn't manage to keep us up I think it will be as much of a blow to him as it is to us. So is he interested in good football? Well yes I think he is, as for how we're playing now... If it's effective enough to achieve our goals then it's good football. Play on Pulis, play on...

He's doing his best to keep us in the league. However whilst he does that instead of watching the football I'm thinking of shopping lists and what to have for dinner - his style is that dull !

The only slight complaint I might have is that when we have the ball, someone like Jedināk can't pass the ball, but I'd rather us get the ball up to the attack quickly than spend 20 minutes pissing about with it before losing it and being caught on the break like Swansea...

I suppose its a means to an end but it is pretty grim viewing at the moment. If i was a forward player i would never want to play for a club that uses tactics like we do, it would be soul destroying. Ince is a good example, he is a player who was brought here to help improve our chronic lack of goals but is being used in a way that he can't hurt the opposition. If we do go down i don't think anyone in the Prem will shed a tear for us because we will be no loss at all. We can attack, as we proved in 1st half at Spurs, i would rather see us try to score the first goal and then start the tedium. This tactic of just staying in the game and see what happens is fraught with danger. We somehow need to find 3 wins from somewhere and i would rather take risks to win games other than just go for draws because we will lose most of our remainingfixtures 1-0.

Well last week during the Southampton game I decided Thai green curry.

Yesterday in Sunderland it was a choice between fish and chips or a curry.

I ended up getting a chicken kebab and chips though...
