Can't believe some on here are insinuating they'd like to get rid of TP! I tell you what, if the board chose differently we could have had an 'R' next to our name in a couple of weeks...
I beg to differ, Premiership = £60m p/a. Championship = £2m p/a. I know which one I'd prefer. I just want to see my team play football. The dream of ever being successful is really gone nowadays and with financial fair play coming in it will ensure the big stay big and the lesser teams can never overspend to compete with the aid of a sugar daddy. If we stay in the division playing like Southampton then count me in, playing like we are right now, sorry it's just horrible to watch and at times downright embarrassing.

When we were playing hoofball under Coppell we had Wright and Bright which made it kinda bearable and we kept telling ourselves that once we were promoted and had more money we would buy better players and play more expansive football, much like people are claiming under Pulis. It ain't going to happen, because he plays the way he plays. Some people are happy with that and that's fine, but I really don't like to watch it, so I won't be so happy, sorry.

Really, Chamakh, Murray, Bolasie, Puncheon, Thomas, Bannan, Williams (I know), Gayle, Pep, Ledley, Ince. Forgive my ignorance, but who is Pep?

I am sorry Mr.Pulis but I do not agree with your belief " we did alright and competed ". Probably one of the worse home games this season with the exception of the Fulham match. We had no mid-field and with the exception of Murray and to some extent Bolasie nobody seemed to put in a complete shift up front. You can no longer play KG if you want us to believe we can stay up so lets go back to the drawing boards and rebuild our mid-field before we go north.
Oh that's strange they won so easily when they actually hardly had a shot on target apart from the goal and didn't trouble Speroni except when they hit the post. They are soooo good that they laboured to a win. We didn't look like winning this one but you must have brown stuff in your eyes (and a lot of it) if you think Southampton were ever nailed on for the win until they scored.

Watching the game from the start,it soon seemed clear, that we were huffing, and puffing, without really knowing what to do, when we did get the ball...and yet, the 'Saints',always seemed to have a plan, didn't panic, or give away the ball to often.. Take the free kicks.. we, when we did have them, wasted good clear changes, and yet, they, had it all worked out, AND, had a set play, on what to do with the ball.. We seem to like just 'farting', about with the ball when we get it..very frustrating..make stupid passes, usually to them, or pass it BACK, instead of attacking forward.. With this stye of play, it is, going down to the wire lads..make no mistake..seen it all before..sadly.
Here since 81...(LAST CENTURY !!).. x-Dunraven School, early 1960.... Palace 'nut' since 58.... |

Time has come for Pulis to be attack minded--me thinks attack is the best form of defence is not within his brief.Must give Gayle a run out, drop KG , have a one to one chat with Puncheon who some times is as much a hindrance as a capable footballer we know he can be(Ince is more than capable substitute) and ensure Chamack is fit for saturday. The bare statistics do not lie--we are the lowest goal scorers in the premier league which could prove to be our undoing.

We were nearly AFC Eagles 3 years ago playing on purley way... Last season we finished 5th in the championship then went up with a £3 million pound squad.. Relax..... Enjoy..... Could be worse, we could be a established mid table premier league team.. ;-)

Sorry but the football is very poor, and one goal every two games is scant reward for paying Prem prices. I've been a season-ticket holder since 1984 but am struggling to justify paying nearly £500 for 19 games of this standard next season.
