Back in the old days if you were an away supporter you went in the away end(thats what away ends are for) and if your a home supporter you went in the home end!

No. Back in the old days, there was no segregation and the crowd was made up of fans of both teams (and neutrals) standing or sitting together. Then the dark days came along, people started fighting rather than showing respect to their fellow but opposing fans, and segregation was introduced.

It'll never go back to the non-segregated days, because there will always be a sizable minority of fans who prefer the confrontation to the sport.

Goodness is what you do. Not who you pray to.

A couple of days before the Newcastle game my son was born. As a dutiful father I swerved the game but didn't want my ticket to go to waste. My Palace supporting mates have tickets anyway. As a result a Geordie mate took it. The guy who sits next to me told me next game what a good bloke said Geordie was. I knew that anyway. He wouldn't have got the ticket were he the type to pitch up in a Toon shirt and behave inappropriately.

I cant make it this Saturday as I have to work but my boss can make it he is a Man U fan has been since 2000 so a pretty long time so he is taking my seat dont see a problem with it

If your a season ticket holder then you can sell the game back to the club! Now if you really like your boss you can give him the money to buy a ticket in the away end!! And a palace fan can sit in your seat! What a nice chap you are!!!

You're a disgrace.

I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that.

Allowing a Manchester United fan to sit in the home end is somewhat akin to inviting a burgler round your house to sit on the sofa.

Its just something you should not do. The Owners of the club have said No Manchester United in the homes ends and all Palace fans should respect that.

I've sat in one of the home stands at Ipswich and kept quiet when we scored. It just feels wrong and I wouldn't do it again!
