People seem to forget everyone has to play the same teams still. Our fixtures is no tougher then the others.

Have you actually taken a look?

We have the harder run in.

IMO, Sunderland's good run will fizzle out - especially with their cup distractions. West Brom seem to lack belief and Villa are looking wobbly. Fulham could pull out of their tailspin and finish mid-table. Cardiff have a strong squad - and a great loan signing from Man U

10 Swansea 25 -3 27
11 Hull 25 -5 27
12 Aston Villa 25 -9 27
13 Stoke 25 -14 26
14 Crystal Palace 25 -16 26
15 West Ham 25 -7 25
16 Norwich 25 -18 25
17 Sunderland 25 -13 24
18 West Brom 25 -8 23
19 Cardiff 25 -25 21
20 Fulham 24 -31 19

Tighter than a ducks arsehole really. Usually 40 points is seen as the safety mark. In all actuality as a lot of the other teams around us have 6 pointers then it could be as low as 36 points. I think 3 wins 3 draws will see us safe.

We have as good a chance of survival as any of the other TEN teams in the bottom half of the division. If we can assume (as seems likely very soon) that Cardiff and Fulham will start to fall behind the rest, it will be one other out of any EIGHT to join them. Obviously we have to actually get the points on the board but on current form Palace are among the best performing of those eight clubs. This season has shown that any team can be beaten by anyone but that's in our favour.

We are 1 point behind Swansea, Hull and Villa - and according to my Villa supporting mate they were "utter rubbish" yesterday against West Ham yesterday. After all, we also beat them at Villa Park. We have more wins than any of the bottom 11 teams and are starting to score goals. Ince and Ledley have already made a huge difference and FFS will surely score more goals than Cameron Jerome!

Like all Palace fans I won't believe it until it's happened, and I know hope is the worst possible feeling - but I do have a sneaking feeling we'll do it this year.

I was discussing this with my brother Friday, and we both agree before WBA, that the next 8 games will be make or break us, if we can take 10-12 pts we will be safe, but less than a point a game we will be relegated, we had 23pts before yesterday now it's 26 pts, so we need 7pts from the 7 games up to the Chelsea game. Hard ask but it's possible.

We'll starting with Wednesday, I think we are more than capable of getting a point at Everton.

We are doing far better than I could have imagined! My only concern is the goals. But now Glenn is back perhaps he will be the answer!

GT

...in twelve games we have failed to score and if we had scored just the once in those games we would have six extra points today.

West ham ..would have 21 extra pts!
Fulham ..1 pt!
Cardiff ..10 pts
WBA ..9 pts
Sunderland ..12 pts
Norwich ..15 pts
Stoke ..20 pts
Villa ..11 pts
Hull ..10 pts

Have just done a quick prediction looking at other teams run-ins: I doubt Cardiff and Fulham will break 30 points and West Ham and West Brom will struggle to break 35 so I reckon Palace are likely to need another 10 points for safety...but having said that we all know that it's going to go right to the wire and that we'll have to beat Fulham on the last day to stay up! That's the Palace way!

I quite fancy us to take 1 point each off Everton and Man Ure. The latter aren't scary anymore.

I think Everton have only lost once at home this season, 1-0 to Sunderland, and have only lost 3 games all campaign.I cannot see us getting anything at their place.

Don't see why not. We could easily have got a point at Chelsea and Citeh. We were robbed at Manure by the cheating Ashley Young. The defence has looked tight in every game recently. Big question is whether the three new players need time to settle in with the team.
