I can't wait for a couple of players to come out, then we can stop banging on about it. The sexuality, religious belief, personal hygiene habits, and dietary requirements of players doesn't matter a toss to me so long as they can play football. Our players will still be supported by our fans if they come out, players for other teams will still receive dogs abuse from our fans whether they come out or not. I remember (in no particular order) just get it over and done with already! As Lisa Simpson said when watching a Pride march with people shouting "we're here, we're queer, get used to it": You're here every year, we ARE used to it

I don't agree with Homophobia, but I also don't agree with a Campaign. There are FAR more important issues than sexual equality. Are people dying in their masses because of starvation because of homophobia? Or made homeless? [Or denied access to Bed & Breakfast lodging?] I know that certain countries and cultures persecute Gays and Christians and religious factions and blacks and other tribes within their community and I don't agree with that. I just don't think Homophobia is first on the list! Having an opinion on this thread is fine, but when was the last time you took someone in to your home and gave them food or a bed? The campaign is to tackle Homophobia in football which directly effect gay footballers and suppporters so the campaign is relevant. When black players faced racism in the past the FA responded with Kick it out. If a player was to get abuse along religious grounds I would want to see action taken to stop the abuse. Would love to see a footballer against starvation or football against undemocratic tyrants campaign though.
Football against p1ss taking? Football against standing up? Football against loud noises?

We should leave this sort of thing to Brighton! Its embarrassing & cringeworthy Says the man with a Cop-killers username. That is cringe and very chav and akin to Millwall fans who often sing about Harry Roberts.

I do think that the first couple of players to come out will suffer hugely from piss-taking chanting which is bound to be painful for them and embarrassing for the clubs. After that initial pain it will become a non-issue apart from Brighton, the self-confessed and self-promoted gay capital of Britain. Meh.
