Still with the 'Ward back to RB' bandwagon, but you've got to admit he does a damn good job in midfield too! I think TP likes him there because he gets up and down the pitch so well.

Also enjoying Hull's £14m-worth of strikers getting knocked about by our pair of old freebie centre-backs

Not a pen. Gabbidon is running in a straight line , long slows down for there to be contact between the 2 players so he can hit the deck, but he isnt in control of the ball.
A lot of refs would give that though. So well done ref.

TBF I can see both points of view...Long was clever enough to get in front of him, which by rights means he's in control of the situation and to go down would mean a foul. The fact that Long has 'history' of falling to the ground is probably what went against him...thankfully

need to gime jermone balls to feet/chase, as the two cb's look comfortable in the air.

passing has been a bit pedestrian... we're waiting for balls to just come to feet. Getting caught in possession too much. All it needs is a shout from someone. Basic stuff.

good goal from punch.

need another, as hull looking dangerous, and we're not looking as solid as usual.

If you look at carefully Gabbidon never even tackled Long.

Ref correctly saw that Long's line was not to the ball but rather to force Gabbidon to clip his heels. Excellent call.

didnt say he did...but the fact that after 8 or so replays both the commentators and those on the radio still think its a pen says it was close

Wish Jerome would start making a bit more of a contribution or at least start reading the game better.

Couple of good crosses from Mariappa and Bolasie which is encouraging and a few more punts towards the goal.

Keep going Palace!
